    Worried of Glasgow...
  • After 2 weeks rest you would think the players would be able to muster at least one shot on target. Embarrassing.

    C + FAc/n = P~

where C is the constant (Charlton Athletic)
    Fac (FA Cup)
    n (random round factor)
P~ (steaming pile of dog turd)

With all due respect, we should be brushing teams like Oxford United aside.

We did in August. With our reserves.

Good half boys. More of the same please.
  • Commentary said the delivery into the box from both flanks has been poor from Charlton

He didn't say we had a divine right but I expect this team with a bit of hard work, that are of better quality, better paid, work with better coaches on a daily basis, to beat a side two leagues below at home. Not losing 2-0 without having a shot!

    Charlton 0-2 Oxford

Charlton depart to half-time jeers. A strong 17,000 showing at the Valley. Let's take the temperature elsewhere...

A big kick up the ass needed at half time. Charlton can surely not be as bad the second half. One goal will change everything. Some early subs, 1 goal to Charlton and it is a different game.

"BBC Oxford commentator just said Oxford are 2-0 up here at Championship side Charlton, not long out the premier league" well the last time I checked it had been 6 and half years and after a stint of 3 years in League One. I wouldnt even describe us as being "not long out League One". where on earth do they find these people, it's embarrassing and also encouraging for a student trying to get into journalism.
  • Even our own players don't want to play on that pitch and have given up!
