On my tiny piece of Cornish hillside, it's finally stopped raining, the clouds parted with a stunning full moon and next door's tree dancing like a whirling dervish.
Went out in the garden lit up by the silvery moonlight, quite exhilarating feeling the energy of gale force winds on your face.
You sound like someone about to turn into a werewolf !
I only walked into the garden lol
Anyway, the dancing tree was torn down and took the phone line with it - so no landline since Friday. And the BT engineer never turned up on Monday.
Bah Humbug! A couple of months ago I was in the Cairngorms when the tail end of hurricane Gonzalo passed over Scotland. With another chap i was stuck in Corrour Bothy for 48 hours while the wind outside was registering 108 mph. It sounded like a jumbo jet taking off, very interesting!

As it turned out, it is built around an old mental hospital. Makes sense.
Wouldn't be surprised if it was a ghost town after all the hardship of recent years.
