Think Powell would have got us at least two points from the last two games.

Sorry but from the opening two games it's a no brainer. He's banished the dull old hoofball of the previous regime and in just 5 days has laid out a new style of play that's far more appealing to the eye.
Now remember he's only keeping the seat warm for the new gaffer who will come in the summer but he's laid down a new ethos that is the blueprint of the Academy he will head up come the summer.
So delighted that RD is spending big on the re-development on Sparrows which will make our Academy one of the best in the Uk and this plus the new pitch will allow us to go from strength to strength.
Forget all this feeder club garbage we will be the real deal :-)))2 -

Entirely correct. Seems like a stop-in man to me and from what I've been hearing around, seem to back it up. Seth, I think you're being unfair to the new guy but some of the stuff being said about Riga's impact on the team's way of playing are frankly ludicrous. How many training sessions will he have taken? How well does he know the players? If anything, we're getting a glimpse of what it would be like if Dyer was in charge.2

What Charlton Athletic needs are points. It does not matter if points come from smash and grabs, parking buses, long ball, short ball, tippy tappy, or playing like Brazil 1970. Jose Riga has been appointed by Roland D to get points and keep us up according to the club statement. If Jose Riga gets the points to keep Charlton Athletic up he will have done well given the circumstances of his arrival. If Charlton Athletic get relegated, especially given the games in hand, then both Roland and Jose will have failed.3 -

For me, it's too soon to judge. At this stage, Riga will have little knowledge of the squad, and won't have taken many training sessions. Too early to lay much credit or blame at his door, in my opinion. We'll see what impact he has over the coming weeks. Hopefully, it'll be positive.1 -

Two games two points. No goals conceded but none scored. Thuram and Nego on the bench but not on the pitch for a single minute so does that kill the myth that Riga is a puppet who must play all players signed in January?
The midfield looks accomplished and no one is having a bad game. And Cousins looked good coming off the bench. This is absolutely essential in the weeks to come as we must build consistency.
But up front as everyone knows we don't have the firepower - the loan window is open and I believe that RD is almost obliged to get someone good in so as to show he means business.
I think Riga is doing Ok and the next two home games will tell us about where we are going.1 -

Roland appointed Jose Riga, unless results don't matter much to Roland then surely Roland will be thinking 'Jose and Karel, you had better improve things'.
I understand that Jose and Reza were at SL together (could be wrong about that) so how come Reza is not scoring goals for Charlton Athletic? Is this not an area that Jose Riga must improve?
Maybe Jose Riga would like to bring in a striker..or two.

Think he is a good prospect but needs to man up a bit for the English game
Only time will tell
We wernt scoring goals before Jose came here so it's not going to happen overnight
Any way as I didn't go today and gave my tickets away as couldn't face going for several
Reasons ,I do not feel I can judge the man called Jose so I will read ur comments with
Interest and make my own mind up over the next few games
Hopefully he comes good I just thought today's point was usefull

Do we know for sure who picked the team today? Be surprised if it was Riga. He has had no more than two training sessions to set up against team he admitted he knew nothing about in Wednesday nights press conference. If he did, then he steered clear of Thuram and would be the second manager in recent weeks to prefer Hamer, despite the owners directives. Would be interesting to know.1
