My friend just left Lee. Apparently 3 people taken ill between HG and Lee already. I think the signals were frozen at HG at 6 this morning but resolved by 7.
Small amount of frost this morning so we were 25 minutes late. Still, nobody can be expected to run a decent service in these kind of conditions so I'm not upset at all.
Tonight's trip home from Blackfriars was fun. Couldn't get the doors to shut so 20 min delay. Then we set off only to be stuck behind a slow train to Orpington. That clears only for us to be stuck behind a slow one going to the same place as us. Utter Bastards. I hate them more than Preston N E.
Greater Anglia doing the same cancelling my train this morning asked the guy on the platform why and he said probably because it’s tuesday smiled and walked off wtf
Was I the only one who appreciated the diversion last night? Usually I have to change at Lewisham from Victoria to get on a train to Sidcup... Don't know what everyone is complaining about
I think my comments from last week have come back to bite me.
Delays yesterday due to the ill passengers and then today all lines between Lewisham and Nunhead cancelled..
Going well so far this week. My normal train was 25 minutes late yesterday and cancelled today. Good work Southeastern!!
I've actually just done a delayed repayment on their website. For both yesterday and today. Hopefully I'll get something. I don't buy a season ticket for awful service, I usually only buy season tickets for something I know which is awful with Charlton.
Of course it’s not currently of much use to many, but folks around Abbey Wood will be able to save money on certain routes. Abbey Wood to Stratford is now £1.70 peak and £1.50 off-peak.
Plumstead to Stratford is £2.70 peak and £2.30 off-peak – for what is currently a shorter journey. You can use other forms of transport aside from Crossrail (well, you’ll have to) and still pay less. To give another example, under National Rail fare scales used by Southeastern a single journey from Abbey Wood to Farringdon on Thameslink would have been £4.20 peak or £3.10 off-peak. As that route will be direct on Crossrail, even if you use existing services you pay lower fares of £3.90 peak and £2.80 off-peak.
And also delayed on the way home. Just by a few minutes but the knock on effect at junctions means it’ll end up being much more delayed and make me late for an appointment. Argh.
NEW: We have just received reports of a track defect in the #WoolwichDockyard area, meaning all services out of London via Woolwich Dockyard are suspended until further inspections have taken place. More information to follow when we receive updates from Network Rail.

UPDATE: The line has now reopened following urgent repairs at #WoolwichDockyard, however, there will be a reduced service along this line due to a speed restriction which has been imposed by Network Rail.

Sorry guys! Blame me for this one.

It’s a pretty crazy situation that a shorter journey from Abbey Wood to London Bridge now costs more than a longer trip to Farringdon.
