Be fortunate to get a point out of this but new found self belief may cause a surprise. Riga May hold back a couple of players for Tuesdays 6 pointer.
  • Convinced of a home win and also a few goals. 3-1 win or 4-1 can't decide.

Mr Madley in charge this saturday.

If picked Michael Morrison will continue his run of consecutive league games to 58. Last league game missed away to Watford 1/1/13.

When DD deputised and had a bit of a mare :-0 still won 4-3 though :-)

Can we have a bit of luck, 2-0 two penalties. If we get one we must get another

I hope for a win but greatly fear a Saturday 0-3 stuffing.
  • Great review, with which I am in 100% agreement, unfortunately all the way down to the result.

Perhaps we could turn the lights on and tell the lads its a Tuesday night, no thought not.

The pattern over the last few months has been generally been low scoring defeat, defeat, win, defeat, defeat, win. For that reason i'm going for a 5-5 draw.

Unrealistic, unsubstantiated blind faith... I like it!

As a fellow old fart I will review my initial 0-2 to Reading and predict a binary bore special 1-0 home win.

    Thanks Bob

Best we can hope for is to keep Reading out the whole game and nick one of the chances that WILL come our way.

To get penalties you have to be in the opposition's penalty area

Really need to be stringing together more than one win in a row if we're going to pull away. Barnsley have just won two in a row, including an impressive win at the Madejski, so as the herald of Death-By-Barnsley I have a bad feeling about them building up a head of steam. Reading are a good side but we've really got to push on for a win at home.

Plus I took my dad to see us play at the Madejski on his birthday and they went and ruined that so I fancy some personal revenge.
  • Don't forget we are on a run.........

    1-0 0-3 1-0 0-3 1-0 ...... Bugger!

At least if we keep it up we will beat Yeovil and Barnsley 1-0 as they are both Tuesday games

Tough match, and like most would take a point right now.

Cant see it tbh although I think if we go with Obika up top we'll score.

1-2 loss and onto the vital mid-week game
  • our game quality is linked to pitch quality,( that is one of the reason why we are better away than home) so we may expect less passing quality in the game ...

We haven't won a single game that I have listened to on Player. In fact we have lost them all. Away this weekend so probably won't listen so perhaps a better result.

Or maybe not. Expecting to lose this one.

Agreed, both teams will be affected.

    Presumably accidental, Jonny ?
Yep an arm flung in the post match celebration ........ but then again maybe Willo paid the owner of the injudicious arm to enjoy retribution in respect of the tete a tete at Nottingham on the previous Tuesday. Don't ya lurve a good conspiracy theory ;-)))
  • Our home form has improved and we now have 5 home wins, compared with 4 away wins. A point would be great and if we stick to the gameplan we wil get one. We need to catch up Birmingham so I go for a 1 -1 draw and obika to score

A draw against Reading and a win Tuesday v Yeovil i will be very, very happy with.

Could go either way against Reading. They could score five, but then they're just as likely to concede five...although they are playing Charlton., so I doubt it. As @Madz said, I'll be happy with a draw with Reading and a battering of Yeovil.
  • Come on you reds we can do this?

Better be a home win. Leaving St Ives at 7am and driving 6 hours home for this.

Can't go. On holiday. Missing this and Yeovil. Nailed on for back to back wins....

    Actually, reality check 1-0 Reading.

Nope your right I'm away as well so it will be 4 points from the 2 games and lots of goals
