    3-0 to JR's Red & White Army
  • Matt Gilks? He's at Blackpool.

    2-0 to us.

    Dont play Church!
  • Some things in life can irritate you. I keep feeling confident that we will win 3-0 or 3-1. And then, I have moments where I am thinking "we won't score and we will lose 2-0". I'm not usually like this.

No offence to them, but sad state of affairs when we are so clearly full of nerves and trepidation about Yeovil visiting The Valley.
  • At the moment I'd feel more confident if it was an away game.

I fear a disappointing one goal defeat.

He needs to rotate a bit. I think both full backs look very tired. It is clear Astrit is not match fit,I'd keep him as an impact sub. My team :

    Hamer
    Nego
    Fox
    Cousins
    Morrison
    Dervite
    Petrucci
    Reza
    Obika
    Poyet
    Jackson

    Subs:
    Phillips
    Wilson
    Wiggins
    Wood
    Astrit
    Sordell
    Church

The best thing about the team is the defence, no way should we change this.

I would start with Obika and Sordell up front. Swap Reza for one of these two after about 60 minutes.

Just please please no Danny Green anywhere near the team. I think Church has had too many chances now.

One thing is for certain, beat both Yeovil and Barnsley over the next week and we'll be all but safe.

Four games to play and five-eight points ahead would look very healthy for us.

No offence to them, but sad state of affairs when we are so clearly full of nerves and trepidation about Yeovil visiting The Valley.

Which is why I feel stupid for feeling like this is more in the "must not lose" category more than "must win". Looking at Millwall and Barnsley's fixtures tomorrow night (Wigan [A] & Burnley [H] respectively), they'll be lucky to take anything from those. A draw with Yeovil in that situation keeps everyone at an arm's length and we can really push on next week against Barnsley.

Lose (by two goals) and the others win, we'll go bottom...

    To hell with rotation and inexperienced loanees in this relegation dogfight (even on the bench), best team available starts tonight which IMO is;

    Hamer
    Wilson Moro Dervite Wiggins
    Harriott Poyet Cousins JJ Astrit
    Obika

Subs Philips, Hughes, Pritchard, Reza, Sordell, Wood, Fox

Win this and the pressure starts to ease off a bit ahead of playing Barnsley next week.
  • don't care how we do it, but we must win both this game and the Barnsley one

But you do know that we won't win both, don't you?!

Why is Yeovil's player to watch Matt Gilks?

As far as I know he's still at Blackpool and has never played for Yeovil in his career. He even played for Blackpool against the Glovers two days ago.

Dont fancy us in this at all 0-2
  • The Mighty Addicks ;-) get the job done with a not so comfortable riding our luck 2 - 0 win.

Reza & Obika with the goals.

Is Duffy still at Yeovil on loan from Everton? He's the one to watch.

Yeovil play with no fear and seem to score in most games, Think we will lose 2 or 3-0.

Miller will be a big miss for them. 10 league goals so far in the season, the rest of their remaining strikeforce have managed just 13 combined (Hayter 5, Ralls 3, Moore 2, Grant 2, Lawrence 1).

I aim to be there but I fear the worst. Yeovil will be up for it and can score.

We might be up for it but cannot score. 0-0 at best which is not good enough for us.

We need three points from this match.

Really looking forward to this game. Hoping and praying for a Charlton win. Desperately need this one. We need our defence to be on the ball in and around our penalty area as Yeovil will be up for it and our strikers to hit the target enough times to cause Yeovil to not attack us so much.

If he plays Church we will lose. If we play Pigott in front of Adjerevic, we will win.

0-0 might be good enough - but won't make the rest of the season relaxing - a defeat would be a massive blow to us though.

They didn't miss him at Blackpool on Saturday.
  • 0-1 loss. All Yeovil have to do is bring their usual game with them with a keen eye on keeping us out which is not a hard task, first goal wins it if it's for them.

A renegade terrorist group (Charlton Athletic Moaners Partnership) kidnap Simon Church, and hold him hostage on a paradise desert island until the season ends. Forced to play strikers who might score, we play Obika and Reza, and the former gets the only goal of the game to ensure our customary 1-0 Tuesday win, and generate 1000 'we are staying up' posts on CL.
