Haven't the club missed a trick here? Should have had the half price tops on sale last week for the 'sea of red day' or announced another one for today :-0
I'm sure Airman said recently that Just Sport/ Nike wot' allow Charlton to reduce the price of the kits.

So how have they been reduced ?
Not into the verticle stripe, too much like the centenary kit

Ok ta must have missed that, just seemed that the reduction now and the 'sea of red' last week might have been coordinated better or the initiative continued with the announcement of half price kits for rest of season.

It's more that Charlton don't run the shop anymore.
It has all be outsourced to Just Sport so they make the decisions and we take 40% of the gross.
It's up to Just Sport to decide what they do and don't discount, not Charlton.
As Airman says above part of the deal to outsource the retail is that there will be a new home shirt every season. Commercially that makes sense as it is by far the biggest income generator from the shop so doing it every 12 months rather that every 24 months means more money.
Whether that is ethical or "right" is another argument.
I don't buy or wear replica shirts but plenty do and many like a new shirt once a year. Plenty of others don't.
My preference would be a new home or away shirt in alternate years but changes in sponsor and supplier make that very hard to stick to

I don't know why we just don't make our kit. Surely more money for the club? Burnley's kit today is nice. Only a one off though.

The re branded "Get some nuts Arena".
Rip back to the valley dinner.
Maybe they don't have many left, or maybe only the shirts changing?
My Macron KRBS one is just starting to peel now. Time for a new one I think but I don't like this year's one.
We are not Liverpool. We play in red AND white.
