Why do we have to have one out of the nike catalogue.
We pay enough for the bloody things, surely the club should be allowed to design their own shirt and nike should go away and make it.

There are so many clubs out there (Not just in England but the World) that use Nike they cant really make them for all requests

its probably only the clubs that Nike approach themselves about being the kit sponsor that are allowed to design their own kits (i.e. Man Utd) whereas if you contact Nike about them being your kit sponsor by signing up with them your having to agree to their catalogue

I'd cough up my cash for this one. None of the others would tempt me...............

Seeing as how our deal with Nike works it'll be one of their generic teamwear designs so will most likely be one of these 4.

The third one look like a cheerleaders outfit

Can't we get sponsorship with someone we've heard of though, I mean all respect to "Mrs Miggins Pie Shop" and other local companies but wouldn't you rather it was something like this?

Be awkward if it was McDonalds as our sponsor as then each of us would have to say "I'm loving it" when they see the new shirt

FC Twente, who had the same template as us last season, have got the collared template as seen above. Looks quite nice

Can Imagine it being this one, of course with the Charlton badge and an Unknown Sponsor. Not too bad I guess.

Actually not a bad idea. If RD wants to maximize his network he should
look for group sponsor and group kit Manf have all his teams playing in similar kit would be a great idea

If we get a decent sponsor I will get the new kit. Have held off as my Sunday league teams had a better looking sponsor to Andrews. Very grateful for the them sponsoring us though.

    Agreed.

Used to be good to see Nike kits back in the day but everyone has them now, so to me they don't feel as unique. Saying that I liked this seasons shirts.

Plenty of kits being made by the smaller brands who have better unique designs.

Also hoping those Liege models will be revealing our kits....

The Macron kits were better then the template junk Nike and Just Sport have served up in the last two years.

Careful now. That Joma kit in 2008/9 must still be classed as unforgivable. Sometimes going off script can be a bad experience

Only at Charlton Athletic could you celebrate 100 years with an appalling piece of tatt like that.

Given that there are a few clubs now releasing their kits for 2014/5 does anyone have any idea when ours is likely to be announced?

Frankly, I think it's fair to say that no sports brands are, have been or ever will be "fashionable". Popular maybe, fashionable no. We're not talking haut couture here, we're talking cheap plastic tat. Now, back to my GQ magazine followed up by a quick check for progress on the hair highlighting thread.
