Hi @IA Have you been to China or done business with Chinese trading companies? It seems you're well experienced in this field! I bought my Charlton shirt from a Chinese textile manufacturer on Taobao (China's equivalent of eBay) last year - it was the Macron one, my favourite of all in recent years, and only cost around 10 pounds. The manufacturer was a supplier of Macron and there were many other clubs' kits for sale, all at very cheap prices.
Hi @JessieAddick , yes I used to work for one of the companies I described. We had colleagues in Guangdong who ran a trading company. Occasionally, our UK customers would wander on to Alibaba etc to try and cut us out. I remember one putting in English that he wanted to order baseball caps. All of the responses were in Chinese, and about all sorts of other products (snow globes, glow sticks, stationery etc), so I gave him a call and kept the customer. I really enjoyed working with the Chinese colleagues, but a very different work environment. My memory of Indian and Bangladeshi companies was that they were very slow. If I was doing it, I would start the ball rolling now for 2016-17 season, but it would be a huge risk, which is why they don't do it.
Is it me or does the away strip being mentioned 2/3rd ones, really remind you of FIFA Street and just a generic cheap nike top they wouldn't use for a football kit.
The stripes remind me of the same type of thing as these:
