We know we need a striker or two, but I think we have suffered by not having a good left and a good right winger. No idea who is a realistic target for these positions though.1

We need
3 strikers,
2 quality midfielders at least one in the andy reid mould,
a new goalkeeper and at least
1 decent centre half....
Poyet and cousins have done wonders but to much was thrust on them too soon...

ive been banging on about stevie may for a year or so on here the guy is mustard would become a cult hero over night thinner andy reid but a real goal scorer and more tricks then dynamo.0

Chris Burke would be absolutely ideal IMO. Tricky winger with good dead ball delivery. Would add something we have been missing this year to our midfield. Like Jack Hunt as well who has been on loan at Barnsley (especially if Solly isnt able to last a whole season, as want to keep Wilson in midfield) but was very good in his Hudders days, but can see him returning there.
Maguire at Sheff Utd is a shout, but sure half the Championship will be saying the same thing.2 -

Maybe get him in as the experienced figure around the place... Part of his Contract can be to tell the likes of Gomez not to leave for a big club as they'll waste their careerThe Red Robin said:

Seriously , I think Parker is another league to gower and would love to see him here again it was only 2-3 years ago he was footballer of the year in the prem . Parker, poyet , jackson and cousins will do for centre mid so just wingers now lol .cantersaddick said:

If they get relegated, I guess it will depend on how keen they are to trim the wage bill but I can't see him coming here. Age, fee and wages would seem to count against him although he would make a nice replacement for Poyet!BigRedEvil said:

It might be a struggle to get such players to join a team that narrowly avoided relegation unless they see evidence that we're heading upwards not downwards - the same problem we've had trying to get players in since the takeover.OsamaBenHamer said:Lloyd dyers contract with Leicester runs out this summer.
