  • Probably heading for a draw but it sounds like a good game. If we can score 100 in the final session it sets it up for tomorrow
  • As much as I love the king we need someone other than Sanga to stand up and be counted in this innings.
  • Stoneman's had a lucky escape already, as Lawrence drops him in the slips.

    15-0
  • It's raining hard in Bromley let's hope it misses the cricket
  • 50 up in the tenth over.
  • Stoneman c Cook b Wagner 28

    50-1
  • Bad light stops play, and there's rain on the way too.

    Shame about the weather.
50 in 10 overs looks like Surrey were trying to have a go

Yep looked like we were going all out for the win!
  • And that's close of play.

We'll resume tomorrow on 55-1, leading by 41.

  • The first three overs this morning have been maidens... seems like we're happy to bat out for a draw.

  • Burns c & b Harmer 50

    117-2

  • S Curran lbw b Porter 1

    161-6

    ...eek.
  • Do we know if it's poor batting or good bowling?
  • T Curran c Foster b Porter 8

    177-7

We're going the right way about losing this!

  • Any idea what are Porter's figures since the over before lunch? He's a good young prospect by all accounts but shouldn't be knocking over five Surrey batsmen like that.

    Yes he should ;)

I hear he's a great guy but his uncle is a bit suspect! ;)
  • 50 for Sangakkara

    205-7

Porter's figures are currently 5-71, but that spell just before/after lunch would have been something like Footitt's in that first game against Warwickshire.
  • Off for bad light - tea is taken.

243-7, Sangakkara on 79* and Meaker on 24*.
  • Would be a bit cruel of the weather to deny KS a share of the record (as I think it would be)

    Oi !!!

Been driving down to Devon so only just caught up with this.

  • The players came out after tea, only for the umpires to decide the light wasn't good enough.
