Gutted for the lad - to be leading for 220Km and have the sprinters in the Peloton zip past you 20m from the line must be soul destroying.

Still, he does have the consolation of knowing he's saved the world about 50 times...

Very watchable, as ever. One of the FDJ riders lobbed a bidon my way on July 7th. It sits on top of my TV and will remain there until Paris, next Sunday.
Apologies to those who have seen this clip....it's Peter Sagan demonstrating how to park a bicycle.

Absolutely brutal day today. 3 cat 1 climbs followed by an HC finish.

What was that all about? What did the guy say/do?

Can't see the video - but if it's the Voeckler incident then it was Dutch fans booing him. Voeckler can be amusing, but he's a bit of a prick sometimes. All that gurning for the camera is because he has an image to maintain. This was funny though.

Nibali wins again - very easily.

Will questions be asked about how he did it or the win just accepted as natural..

French are having a great tour - could get 2 on the podium?

After he went past Nieve, the camera panned onto him and he didn't appear to be blowing......

Anything that has Vino involved in is dubious imo.

Fraid I've gone off Sir Brad a bit...

Find him far too moany these days and find his comments strange especially when you see the likes of Mark Cavendish ensuring his team-mates get a hug and a thank you before he does anything else when winning a stage

Really happy for Peraud, 37 and second in le tour, great TT and a brilliant achievement.

Pinot will be a serious contender for yellow in the next few years.

Nibali showing he's a cut above all the other GC riders again, I hope he goes to defend his win next year with Froome, Contador etc all being there to compete in the mountains.

  • Cracking end to a really good tour even though Nibali had this won some time ago.

Lets add Quintana to that list of climbers eh?

Shame it was non contest so long before the end and he seemed to win it with such ease too

Aru might have a shout too, but next year will be too early for him I think.

Pleased to see Nibali win, his Vuelta win in 2010 was exhilerating. I'll not judge him considering one of my favourites Cunego is now under investigation, even after his 'I'm Doping free' tatoo: dubious grammar to say the least.

Bravo Nibali. Bring on this years Vuelta should be a few more big names in it now.

A hugely enjoyable TdF. So pleased for the French lads...esp so for JCP.
For those looking for something to do this weekend, there's plenty happening at Herne Hill Velodrome (weather permitting).
    Spin to win!
