Seen him play once or twice and looked really promicing to me.
He has more promise than Pope who I can't rate as he just seems to lack any confidence... He is however possibly less promicing than people believe.
Well York were in relegation trouble before he joined and propelled them into play-off places last year. This season I suspect they had a similar squad but their manager has been sacked for no wins in seven. Coincidence? I've seen no sign he lacks confidence although he did have to deal with a couple of hospital back passes in his 45' at the Valley.

I am sorry that is nonsense. Pope is an excellent prospect but I think he might well have to prove that somewhere else. As Henderson has also looked a good prospect and will only get better.

helped get york into the playoffs and almost single handedly kept them in the semi finals. If you watched him there he was an absolute beast. Just needs to get that bit of confidence and he's going to be quality.
Having spoken to some friends who watch a lot of our youth football. Their view is Pope is good, Phillips may or may not make it but this kid is just better!
Why cant we have a constant stock of Strikers coming through our Youth Team...
Instead with Charlton it ALWAYS seems to be Goalkeepers... Doesnt seem to matter who the Goalkeeping Coach is we always find them
Pigott, Smith, Azeez, Sho-Silva, KAG, all did well playing for under 18 and under 21, two moved on, two out on loan, one just getting a look in on the first team at 17. How many defenders or goal-keepers will make it? I think we will have to look in about 2 years time to see how these players have matured. Most come through youth team at the same time, so in that respect we are not doing to bad at producing players. Not all players will go on to the premier league, some will slip down the league and some into non-league, if we produce 2 to 3 a season we will be doing well.
Aside from the goal, this guy is meant to be a seriously promising keeper
Whilst I cant ever see the Coventry Goalkeeper ever getting a first team appearance somewhere after that goal, is just shocking from him even after the bounce

I remember Robinson scoring direct from a free kick, for the Spuds v Watford.
The Watford keeper that day? Foster, who is now a regular in the England squad!

So, the Coventry keeper may make it yet!
