Very sad. I do hope she gets her wish to have one last Christmas, but it is impossible to plan for your death in this way. Even doctors don't know exactly how long a patient may have. Wish her all the best.
Very sad I am of a similar age to Lynda and have two life long friends battling very bad cancer so this hit home real hard. Wish her the best for the remaining time she has but it was a tough thing to read
Very brave but having seen my dad go through chemo that whilst prolonged his life, we knew all along it wouldn't cure him I can fully understand her decision.
He had to endure 6 months in a hospital bed at home with no quality of life.
Two years on and it still upsets me that he had to go through it with no light at the end of the tunnel.
God only knows how my mum coped and came through it and now has a life to get on with.
All very sad but I'd like to think of Linda as she was. Always a massive favourite of mine, and long before the awful OXO adverts. She was a very sexy woman and her place in British TV and film is secured.
I was at Brooke Bond Oxo during the award winning campaign, never met her but I know she was always thought highly of by the brand team. Sounds like she is leaving her family with dignity, a true professional, the very best to her and her family and may she achieve the goals she has now set herself.

Oh indeed she was in her youth. Correct me if I'm wrong but didnt she appear in one of the confession films (something like confessions of a window cleaner or driving instructor) of something like that? Or did I just imagine that?
Tragic. Apparently there's a loose women recorded last week which is exceptionally emotional and due to be broadcast this week. Will be much more poignant now...

RIP
Died in her husband's arm.
When cancer takes over the end is always a lot quicker than you want.
It is tragic she couldn't have the last Xmas that she wanted for her family.
