Apologies if this an old one and doubtless not everyone on here will agree with the sentiment but I think this is brilliant! (warning, it is a little bit sweary)

  • It is indeed brilliant!
  • Now that made me smile....excellent!!
  • This is hilarious.
  • Brilliant and very true.
  • Mildly amusing but otherwise utter bollocks.
If humour was a kitchen product, that would be Dreft to Frankie Boyle's Cilit Bang.
The tosser who had the time, wherewithal and energy to do that should be using his resources to go out and find himself a job. Scrounger. (Now, that's humour.)
  • Oh those lefties! aren't they a scream!
  • Really funny and spot on.
  • you missed a C out of the title.

  • Brilliant and very true.

Brilliant but not true, unless you are completely biased.
  • Great and spot on.
  • Come on. We all know that's what Cameron is thinking.
  • Oh those lefties! aren't they a scream!

Well you've got Jim Davidson, so everyone's happy.
  • That's a 'like' and a 'LOL' post if ever I've seen one Uboat!
  • So sad I can't click on the link, I bet it's hilarious...

    Have I? Thanks...
  • Very clever.
  • #banter and with close to a million views for some of his videos a 'proper job' isn't needed

Unless he sells the rights to them then it wont class as a proper job. Depends how clever he is.

Is there anything to suggest he is a labour supporter?

He has loads on YouTube with millions of views so he doesn't need to "sell the rights",that's not how things work these days... as YouTube advertising will pay him a decent amount each month.

Plus he's a comedian so probably has other gigs on the side.

Trust me, I am a director at an advertising agency, thats not how it works.

If you upload a video on to youtube, and it gets loads of views, you wont get paid anything. Youtube advertising revenue goes to youtube (for skippables and pre rolls)

Unless he is hooked up to a channel (such as Channel Flip or VEVO for music videos) which pays youtube to have an element of control around its own channel.

As I say, he sells the rights and he makes money.

hate to say it, but you're incorrect.

You can create an adsense account and become a youtube partner (which you get offered by youtube if they feel you're popular enough, which cassette boy is)

If you upload a video on YouTube and it gets loads of views which ads are generated against (and you are registered appropriately) then you will receive a percentage share of all ad revenue generated, irrespective of whether you are registered to a channel or MCN.

I dare say that CassetteBoy is making a lot more money than he would be if he had a 'proper' job generating similar content in a traditional TV production company.

  • ^exactly. I've seen his name on festival flyers and purchased my 1st cassette boy album over a decade ago so it's not just a recent gimmick either
