  • Don't think you can be too old to have a players name on the back of your shirt.

I remember through parts of last season when the football was as exciting as watching paint dry, no doubt getting beat, I would peer down from my space in the Upper North down in the Lower North and see a guy standing there with a 12.Doc shirt. Got me thinking "Could always be worse", without that guy I would have been even more miserable each game.
  • I got a shirt for Xmas one year, as soon as the club shop opened again I got Parker 7 on it. A couple of weeks later it went in the bin
  • Make sure you get an authentic Charlestown Athletes shirt though. There a lot of fake ones being sold in Europe under the name Charlton Athletic.
  • I haven't personally had a Charlton player's name on the back of my shirt since Parker but I don't think people who do choose to go for a name and number are committing some sort of fashion crime, that's for wearing the shirt in the first place!
  • Is go with Parker, Murphy or Defoe if I were you.
  • Would be nice if you got a 'non-common' charlton player name so fellow addicks can spot you from behind!

Go for solly or vetokele over Jackson and Morrison etc
  • does anyone know off the top of their head how long Lawrie is signed for?? by far one of my favorites but I'm not sure how much longer he could be with us. He'd probably be who im leaning towards
  • Contract's up at the end of the season...
  • hmmm decisions decisions. Gut tells me he'll resign though
  • Get Gomez and 3, Solly and 20 or Vetokele and 14 imo
