I like all three kits. Choice of boot colour could dictate the extent to which a Player looks like an athlete/dick. White socks and boots combo isn't great! So nice to see plain socks. Makienok and Bauer are big units. Hope they can play.

The kits are fine and Simon has a lot to be pleased about. Has Solly grown, looks at least 5'4" to me?
  • Not keen on any of them if I'm honest. At a push the third one is ok, but the other two are not for me.

I like all 3. My dad can't decide which one he wants for his birthday as he likes them all too.

the home one is basically the 92/93 season Ribero one, isn't it?

Yep a few people have hinted that the away was meant to be the home kit.

Yup. We now know what that shirt would've looked like with a sponsor!

Home - is okay (preferred last year, not a fan of collared football kits)

Away - I like it, away kits should be different

3rd - surprised so many people like this! Purple is my favourite colour but I still detest it!

    Are you Prince?

Any chance management have said to igor that at times last season he was a bit lightweight and gave him a training program over the summer to baulk up ?
To me he doesn't look fat just more stocky probably muscle.

He's definitely podgier, but that made Andy Reid better... where is he now he's slim?

    Shit string?
Do you mean a very bad piece of string or a piece of string coming out of your arse?

I think Jimmy Stone is taking the piss that Katrien did in fact want that palace-a-like kit as our home kit
she's keen but a bit green behind the ears as to what Charlton fans would like
thankfully she listened to people who are real Charlton people

Don't get the Palace comparisons with the away strip been years since they had a sash and it doesn't mean that the design is intrinsically linked with them, looks closer to the Peru kit or the on Southampton had a couple of years back. And then some people saying the would've preferred it to be blue? Glad its not our home kit but think it makes a great away kit.

Blimey I'm actually going to be able to buy a shirt finally. I've not liked any enough for a fair while. The purple kit will be mine, especially being my favourite colour. I'll even get the shorts to knock about our ridiculously hot flat in. Not worn together though.

For those born in 70s as a kid growing up palace were built up to be the team of the eighties and Vincent hilaire and co wore the kit from season 76/7 in all but one of the following 11 seasons and they wore it again 2008/9
And I'm pretty sure they've had it as an away design as well

That's why I don't like it and if you're too young or too old to remember those times , lucky you :-)

But the thing is, plenty of teams have a sash. Rayo Vallecano wear white with a red sash, West Ham had one last season, Peru and River Plate are both white with a red sash, LA Galaxy have a sash at the moment... Plus, the Nigel kit is a red and blue sash. If our sash was the same, only with black instead of blue, then feel free to complain, but in my eyes you can't dismiss a kit because it looks similar to a rivals. We've had blue kits before, stripey kits before, and now we have a kit with a sash on it, big deal

It's not just the concept of a sash I dont like, it's the fade on it as well

As a boy I was obsessed with the Peru kit and love a sash, but like AFKA, don't like the fade on ours:it's pointless.
Solid sash, black shorts, white socks with a red top and you've got a kit.

Can I please remind people once again that these are teamwear kits. We don't choose anything about them, just what template and what colour we want, and the club badge and sponsor is then put on them and given a £30 price hike.

This is the last season of the Nike deal. Next year we will probably move to another company like Adidas and have a teamwear contract with them.

It is highly unlikely we will ever have a bespoke kit made for us again unless we went with Umbro. Probably only half of the Premiership have bespoke kits made for them nowadays.

I personally feel that these are the best kits we've had in a long time. When you look at some of the other templates and colour ways in the 2015/16 Nike Teamwear catalogue we could have had a lot worse.

    I like the faded sash.

The sash also comes down from the opposite shoulder to that Palace had.
