Who said we don't care? Just not our cup final that's all.

Its more local for me than The Den.

Your fans always say you dont care about Charlton.

And seriously another one, there really must be more spanners on here than North Stand Banter
  • He's coming for you,
    He's coming for youuuu,
    Jeremy Kyle
    Is coming for you.
  • We pay your benefits,
    We pay your benefits....
  • They all need a ticket it's the annual school bully reunion ! I will not be taking my pencil case and Nick naks, just in case, they tighten up the toggles on my anorak hood and demand I hand it over.

As for Osama saying he does not understand why some fans choose to stay away, then all I can say is he obviously hasn't been around this fixture a lot in the last 40 years. Whilst large scale disorder has been rare, not really seen since the 70,s and 80,s. The intimidation that Millwall fans think is hard unfortunately has no limits, and is directed at the ordinary fan whether they be 70 or 7. I would not take my grandfather, wife or children to this game, why expose them to even the smallest risk, and unfortunately with a large element of the Millwall who will be at the valley that risk exists.

    Completely agree.

Sad that this is the way it is in football in this day an age. Everyone, without exception, should be welcome.
  • Very naïve.
Guarantee there won't be any real trouble surrounding the fixture. If there is, it'll be between those who are looking for it. This is 2014, not 1984.

Hmmmmmmm......if we beat them do you really think like-minded souls will be the only ones kicking off? Trust me, any of our fans will be fair game.

My daughter has zero interest in football, but if she did I would think twice about taking her to any game involving our friends from the Toolbox.

That's alright then you can settle my bill from Blackheath hospital for any private health care I might need if I get duffed up after the match. All I need now is your credit card details :-0

  • I remember last year walking out the off license by the Angerstein pub as I was setting off for the game, when a lively young lad clad in stone island came in and asked if the shop keep did cash back. The shop keep said no, the young lad said "c'mon mate I only want £50"

Make of that what you will. Too much of an obvious one for me.....

I admire your confidence but I still won't be taking my posse of 11year olds.

On a separate note, do you not think it's a bit ironic a Charlton fan calling Millwall 'small'

I mean even when you went all Those games unbeaten you was still only getting 15k at home. Hardly makes you a big club. And that's with giving away thousands of tickets to locals, shipping yokels in from the sticks with subsidised travel and selling a big chunk of season tickets for £150.

A big chunk of season tickets for £150? Big as in smallwall.
Shipping yokels? Your sponsors are Euro ferries.
You call us trainspotters, The average spanner has the brain power to become Woolwich ferry spotters.

:) could be that he was looking for a 'tonic' that they all decided to take for their FA Cup semi final against Wigan when they decided to turn on one another and beat each other up. £50 being the going rate for 1 of these little parcels
  • Was always gonna happen I know, but a few off there fans are looking at buying tickets in the home end.

Paulie mate, you are obsessed. Why are you on their message boards all the time?

    Don't worry yourself about it.
  • There will be a few dotted about, always are

I'm more concerned that they seem to have a better ticketing system than us - buying away tickets via your IPhone, 2 minutes from start to finish, when are we going to get such cutting edge technology? Dread it when there's a high demand game and you phone up to find out that you're 37 in the queue.

Its my mate, guy who sits next to me in the office is a massive Spanner and he keeps pointing these things out to me
  • I note the new Voice of the Valley is coming out at the Ipswich game, a week after the Millwall one.

From a sales point of view, it must presumably make sense to have two bites of the cherry, rather than one.

Surely fear of retribution from our knuckle-scraping visitors for the "occasional" quip his magazine has carried over the years about our poor relations from down the road is not going to keep him off the streets on the 22nd? :-)

Tell him to keep his trap shut! ;o)
  • There are plenty of tickets available for Millwall fans. Simply contact Stuwall. Here's some info for those unaware of the best ticket tout in the business:-

A legend amongst their support. Did he not go on to row for Eton?

    (row as in punch up...)

    Are you 12!!

Scum, Spanners or smallwall who cares.

It's tit for tat. Theres been no trouble in games involving yourselves but still you like to jump on the bandwagon.

Truth is, statistically there's worse clubs than us.

But you anoraks probably know that

I'd move well away, another floor if possible.
