They don't generally come to a complete halt in the inside two lanes of the A2 for two miles. It moves, albeit not as fast as some would like, assuming no accidents.
One of the reasons why I despair of our country, we all like a bargain, but gimmicks like this just pander to the 'me society' If your purpose in life is to pursue this type of activity, and think you are some smart individual..... it's where I depart from you. Go home and gawp at that tv that you bought for 50p, and if you are happy at that, good luck to you.
What did you miss out on Ken?
;-)
Life?...... Did anyone get one of those down there.......... There seem to be a few that need to get one I could think of?
PATHETIC behaviour, and we're supposed to be the most intelligent species on Earth???????
Surely pathetic behaviour would be buying something next week for 25% more than you could have bought it today.
Rather shop at leisure than be caught up in the human stampede.
Yeah saving some money is good, especially this time of year. But I just look at those people getting aggressive and falling over themselves.
They've been completely taken in IMO. My mate said that he got sent some discount codes and was so caught up that he thought he had to buy this shirt for £90 or something. Then he thought 'what the fooock am I doing?'
The only thing I've queued for and got in a panic about getting there early for were play off final tickets 98
I Was at Asda Burgh Heath on the Reigate road this morning at 6.00am and they had a Queuing system in place, Probably about 100 ish standing around.
40" Televisons the main priority, also had Headphones, Food Mixers, Microwaves,DAB Radios, and other electrical goods. Nice orderly que of people waiting for the store to open, Surprised that i only saw 1 Security guard.
Sainsburys Kiln Lane Epsom had a similar que and People were only allowed 1 Tv as this was the big seller. Pretty much the same stuff as asda on offer.
I went to the BNP shop in Welling and bought a small black man to assist with general chores.
I didn't really - just playing with the words really.
Couldn't buy anything because all the websites have been overloaded all day. If I were cynical i'd say it's a ploy to get people into the stores to save £10 off a tv and then spend an extra £50 on shit you don't want or need

I can never tell on here

Missed out on the all singing, all dancing thermos I originally went out for though. :-(
