Can we override the normal loan rules & let him play in the game at the toolbox??
Tel, I'm genuinely peeved at this one. I wanted Church to sign for us before he went to you but, after reading the seamless threads praising him, thought we'd dodged a bullet.
The one thing I hope he'll bring that we're missing is effort.
I hope it turns out that he's the type of player that flourishes at certain clubs and not at others. That's about as positive as I can be about signing this goalscoring phenomenon.
To be fair to church the one things he's got on his side is he always gives 100%
He gives 100% as GJ mentioned, and for that I wish he got more goals. I can't see him doing anything for you though overall. Who knows with football though.

I hope not, he will definitely score against us (probably the effing winner! as well) Personally I have always liked SC. I think he will definitely benefit a team with a proven goalscorer with his well documented work rate and his assists. He has not, and I don't think he will ever be a prolific goalscorer but a fit SC playing regularly is in my opinion a valuable member of the team and I will be sorry to see him leave (and yes I really mean that!) Good luck SC.
Wasn't RD quoted as saying that part of the networks raison d'être was to be a conduit for young players to be able to experience playing football and living in different cultures as part of their life and football experience growth ?
Think this is one of the quirks in RD's experiment.
Pope will get his mojo back by getting games at Bury and The new guy learns english as number two to Etheridge.
It's all perfectly logical.
After reading lots of negative posts, finally one makes sense
Another SL allegedly linked with a move to Charlton.
5 goals in 12 league apps left winger but can play wing striker or right wing.
He's off to Al Arabi to then be loaned to a Ligue 1 side I read somewhere yesterday. Would be a good signing for us.
Interestingly Al Arabi is the same club Imoh Ezekiel was sold to by Standard Liege last summer. Is there anything in that? Does Duchatelet also have links with Al Arabi?
Edit: Sounds like Ezekiel may be returning to Standard Liege already. I think Roland may have closer ties to Qatar than he lets on.
No, he'll still be very useful and play an important role on the pitch but not a long term solution to the striking jigsaw puzzle we currently have. If true, of course.
He's only 28, hardly past his best. 6'1" (apparently) and a striker with champ experience. I'd take him. Perhaps not going to get more than 10 a season, maybe less, but isnt that what we got Igor and Watt for?

You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Not sure that means a great deal though. I['m not sure he'd have picked out the GK from Ujpest.
Best days are behind him i think. Wasn't he on loan at Leeds for part of last season
This on twitter. Anyone know anything about him?
