Cousins - 8.5 - Very well taken goal, was our 'target man' most of the game with goal kicks being flung at him (which he won most of) and he battered and beat Richardson all game. 110% effort as usual - MOTM

Harriott - 4 - Sorry Callum but that was really poor, then again I don't think you're a striker either and playing you up there really is not going to help.

Vetokele - 6 - Looked a bit fresher/sprightly today, was unlucky in the first half but faded in the second

Lepoint n/a - I'll admit he did well for the goal (good hold up play), but the rest of his debut he looked like he had no control of his limbs! So gangly.

Watt 6 Some good runs & a great piece of skill in the box which should maybe have lead to a penalty
Lepoint - Did he get the assist? Other than that I was not impressed. Hope it was just first game nerves
Gomez - what a tackle

Luzon - Spent half the game crouched down in technical area, the other half waving arms around confusing the players. Not convinced by his starting lineup or subs

But apart from the shot that hit the post in the first half what did he do? How many times did he take on the full back and get a cross in? Spent most of the game going sideways - I accept too much is expected of him as he is the only creative mid we have and I don't necessarily agree with Paulie's marking but he did have a poor game today by his standards.

Gudmondsson - 8 MOM - unlucky not to score, great drive just surrounded by inadequacy

Harriet - 5 - couldn't fault his effort but his results were poor
Vetekole - 5 - no confidence, poor running at last man and needs confidence

As much as I would love to reel off a list of what he done, unfortunately it just wasn't one of those games, not much happened at all....For me he was the one constantly cutting in and out to find something and was constantly frustrated

Dmitrovic 6.5 - Not really challenged for most of the game. He made a good save but don't think he was at fault for goal.
Solly 7 - Good performance as always

Gudmundsson - 6.5 - some quality link up play in the centre of the pitch. Should not be taking corners / free kicks as he is not very good at them. Surely must be better players to take corners and crossing free kicks ?
Buyens - 6 - not sure if he is interested to be at Charlton any more
Veljkovic - 6.5 - Some misplaced passes but played the holding midfield position well, wanted the ball and communicated to others around him, thought he improved the team.
Cousins - 7 - played with heart.
Harriott - 5 league one at best. The new Kevin Lisbie.
Vetokele 5.5 - nothing came off and looked short on confidence.

Watt - 6 - looked promising but did not do a great deal.
Lepoint n/a - In the Rotherham penalty area created some problems, created lots of problems for Charlton the rest of the pitch. A worryingly poor debut.
Gomez n/a - Didn't seem to know where to play when he came on, neither did anyone else.

Luzon - Why no other striker on the bench ? (Church or KAG) Disastrous decision to swap Harriots for Gomez on 89 mins. Totally mismanaged the fortunate winning situation.

Crowd - mostly dissatisfied and disengaged. Enjoyed the ' Roland, Roland make a sub' chants.

Rotherham crowd seem to be confused. They sang 'come on you reds' when the only team in red on the pitch was Charlton. Not that bright.
