    I remember standing at the Valley in the 1970's on one bitterly cold Tuesday night when Halifax were the visitors for a game played in front of less than 4,000. I thought those days were long gone. Just shows how naive you can be, even when you are in your 62nd year.

    I was also one of those 4000 and there was snow on the terrraces plus an orange ball. I am sure hales got a hat trick in the first 14 mins.
