When I was out there on 2008/09 we were told that their Royal family has given plots of land in Doha to Qataris . However they had to build on them (substantial building) and complete within a certain time or the whole plot went back to the Royal family. Probably one reason why Elf and Safety went out the window. No deaths or reportable injuries on our site.
