Thank God he hooked Wilson and Harriott, previous managers would have been happy with the 2-1 despite their performances, and would have left them on

No Solly, Wiggins, Jacko, TBH, JBG, Johnson.... We have some depth, it seems, if not among strikers
  • Great performance considering the forced changes because of injury. Forest defence couldn't cope with Watt at start. Great finishes from Bulot. Wilson and Harriett both struggled and Luzon spot on with half time subs. Cousins and Gomez immense special mention for Fox who dealt brilliantly with Burke. Also Buyens put in a shift and had his best game since early season.

Injury time in the corner was a great moment.

Really good game of football from both teams. We just had more options - they had Antonio.

Nobody had a bad game really other than Harriot before he injured himself falling over.

Hope we can hold onto and add to this group in the summer and the network doesn't cash in on Bulot and or any others.

Great win tonight, Bulot immense in the last few weeks, sounded like him, Watt and Cousins were our main men tonight. Wasn't our strongest lineup to date but we still pulled it out. Luzon in fact does know what he's doing and I think that anyone who didn't have confidence in him before tonight should think about changing their tone, he got it spot on tonight! Hope Igor isn't hurt too bad and will be fit for Saturday, as well as our other missing pieces, however no disrespect to the team tonight, they went out and got the job done
  • Luzon has really gone up in my estimation since Norwich game - playing the sort of football we always wanted to see - fast flowing passing and most importantly attacking football

So is that plan of getting a life-size Luzon puppet to hang from the covered end still going ahead?

    Oh Guy Luzooon,
    Oh Guy Luzooon,
    Oh Guy Luzooooooon,
    Though he's on strings,
    He wins us things,
    Oh Guy Luzooooon......

Very impressive indeed. Cousins superb again.Real team effort. Even Buyens made a tackle. Thats five great goals I have seen at the Valley in four days. Hats off to Luzon for the much needed change at half time.

  • Missed the game tonight but delighted with the result. Nice to be building a bit of momentum which will hopefully have a positive effect on and off the pitch.

Other than the two take got subbed at halftime, everyone had a great game. We pushed our luck in the first half. Not sure how they finished with 11 on the pitch.
Special mention to the Forest ball boy for trying to place the ball for our goal kick. Lol.
Didn't quite make the 3 mins of injury time in the corner.

That was my favourite game this year so far, it showed more depth in our squad than I thought we had,
We showed quality when we needed for it, we showed concentration when we needed it, we showed organization when we needed it and togetherness when we needed it. Watt, Bullot, Jordan Cousins were immense and the control of the ball in the corner in added on time was superb.

We didn't miss the 10k extra that came Saturday, and tonight felt like proper Charlton.

Flying back to Rome in 7 hours but a great night, come on you addicks!
  • Kudos to Luzon and the guys, without Solly or Johnson (or TBH) it seemed a tough ask to keep a clean sheet, we didn't yet we still won! Without Watt or Vetokele scoring! I'm sure the boys enjoyed their Nando's tonight!

Another cracking performance. Not as impressive as the recent trio of 3-0 wins maybe, but considering the players that were unavailable, and Forest were on a good run, that was impressive. JC was magnificent, and TWWW, Diarra, Bulot were excellent. But special mention from me for Morgan Fox. He is well worth his place.

Jordan Cousins was absolutely immense MOM by a country mile! Watt absolutely schooled Antonio at the end and he should have seen red!Gomez and Bulot were both class too!

Pleasing to put in such a good performance with key players missing!

    COYR
  • Both teams very entertaining to watch.

As said above, Cousins was the best player on the pitch against a top quality opposing midfield. Battling, intelligent, skilful and brave.
