I watched this afternoon's pre match build up with Steve brown curbs and Scott minto.
Brown adores Charlton. I like the way he talks.
He is definitely coach material and I'm rather surprised he hasn't found a decent management job. I'd have him at Charlton working with youth players. He has the Intel understanding and passion for the game.
Brown sitting there with his old manager certainly retrieved his memories of playing for curbs.
All players wanted to impress curbs and they wanted to play for him. They desperately wanted his respect and were hungry for it.

Did you listen to the podcast episode he did with Benjy Nurick where he explained that he basically doesn’t want to be part of a coaching/management set up at a pro-club anymore? Had some bad experiences previously and doesn’t like the sucking up and networking required I think were the reasons he gave.
