It was ridiculous as some of them were old enough to know better. I also saw a mother with her teenage son waiting to jump on. Hope they are sanctioned. The West Brom players were hassled running off and put in a difficult position. The stewards were hopeless.
People will always disagree about this but sooner or later someone (player, steward or official) is going to get seriously hurt during a pitch invasion. Today's paper has reports that someone had a swipe at McManaman and even Delph said someone bit him. Weird to say the least.
Someday soon a player is going to react to some moron in his face or trying to take an effing selfie with a player who has just been knocked out of the cup and it's all going to end very badly.
Not 'bants', not legal and not even remotely understandable given that it was only a quarter final anyway. Just not on really...
What an utter moron Jonathan Pearce is. "The day has been ruined." No it hasn't you bean, some people ran on the pitch a few minutes before the final whistle, no one died as a result.
Good job that no one was hurt though wasn't it?
There were many morons there and most of them were on the pitch.
Ludicrous decision by ref to send off Yacob. He just stood there as Villa player came sliding in both feet off the ground deserving a card himself. Again reaction of player rolling around must have had influence. What did ref actually see?
The west brom player actually jumped in with both feet. Looked at it 3 times to make sure I was right
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why TV replays to make decisions during the game should never, ever happen...
We have all seen the incident several times, and still disagree as to what happened, and we are just as capable of judging as anyone who has watched football for a few years.
Ridiculous. It's a quarter final and quite rightly people are mocking Villa fans for it. As if it wasn't embarrassing enough being a Villa fan anyway.
Good reason to go back to having semi-finals in neutral stadiums instead of at Wembley.
Que? Wembley is a neutral stadium, isn't it? Unless England get to the FA cup semi-final of course...
Well I meant neutral stadiums that are also not Wembley, which should only be used for cup finals in terms of domestic fixtures. I imagine the only reason it is used for the FA Cup semis is to meet some quota of minimum games played there in order to maximise its use/revenue.

I hope that they throw the book at Villa.
