Anyone going to a game today?

No Charlton obviously today, so is anyone watching a local game today, doing a new league ground or being dragged around the shops by "er indoors"?

Dartford v Altrincham
Maidstone v Margate
Cray v Romford

  • Maidstone v Margate all ticket and sold out according to Radio Kent last night.

They said if you don't have a ticket you won't get in!
  • Crawley v Gillingham for me
  • Hitchin Town v Slough Town
  • I'm off to Birmingham for a classic car show, pity as I fancy welling Grimsby
  • Orient v charlton supporters game.

Watch that and cheer em on!
  • Phoenix v Canterbury City for me 9 games to go, top by 10 points but still have to play second place Ashford twice and 3rd place Erith and Belvedere.
  • Anyone know if welling are doing a special for CAFC season ticket holders again
can't see anything on their website and the number is not working
  • Kideeeee vs Braintree
Will three loan signings end a run of four defeats on the trot, 9 games since a win?
    No.

  • May pop down to Welling v Grimsby
  • Was going down to watch Brive play in the ice hockey, but I'm grafting all weekend proofing a house from cluster fly instead.
  • Might creep over and watch crawley beat the pikeys! The great escape is on!
  • Hyde v Stockport, big derby this as there are only 6 miles between them. Still not sure how my son managed to talk me in to going lol
  • Was thinking of scooting down the M4 to see Cheltenham v Plymouth - cheer on Tareiq and Zac. But going out tonight and need to be back by 6.30 and can't quite manage it. Shame, would have like to have seen the youngsters.
  • was going to watch Grimsby RFC .. BUT .. It's raining seriously sleety and coming in in at 45 degrees, it's as windy as the Falkland Islands, as cold as a whore's heart .. SOOOOO .. f**k it, I'll watch the racing on the box and keep warm .. and boring ((:>)

Grimsby is a 'giant' in the conference .. Welling has done superbly to even be in the same frame .. be a shame if Welling and Dartford both go down
  • Charlton old boys Wood, Ward and McLeod not saving Crawley - 1 down at half time. Wood still looks decent.

Yes Grimsby are a big club in that division, same as Bristol Rovers. Not looking good for the Wings and Darts now. They both need to string some wins together. Can't see it happening on this evidence though.
  • Maidstone 2 Margate 1 Att: 2,226

Table looking interesting with Hendon coming up on the rails:

  • we went to Bury, it was abandoned after 7 minutes, see my seperate thread "Pope & Piggott"

Game was abandoned on 88 minutes! Stockport were leading 1-0
  • Kiddeeeeeeee!
3-1 and the end of a dreadful run that has seen them plummet away from the play off positions. Again.

Definitely missing Gash who played the second half for league leaders Barnet.
