Walking to the paper shop and back yesterday I was surprised by the number of people I saw leaving for church. Bizarrely for an in the main non-believer I found it good to see.
Will never ever mock someone else's beliefs. Life can be extremely difficult to navigate at times, and if someone's religious beliefs help them journey that path easier, then good luck to them.

As a very militant atheist, I can still agree with this part. There's no doubt in my mind that the church draws in some of the more public spirited people in society.
