15 goals in 24 starts for Bournemouth for Yann , player0

I hate the way a lot of people think Bournemouth have achieved what they have on a shoestring. I find myself constantly telling people about how much they pay in wages and the FFP.nth london addick said:northstandsteve said:

Luckily for us when we went up as Champions from League One everyone joined us for the love of Charlton and low wages11

This thread is weird.
It seems to me that a big chunk of Charlton "supporters" want the opposition to win a game at the Valley. And the last game of the season to boot.
I want us to kick the b***ards from one end of the pitch to the other. I want us to beat them 10-0. I want to make sure a certain Frenchman never to be able to kick a football ever again.
Why is this? Because they are the opposition. For 2 games a season, every team in the division is the enemy. Whether they be Bournemouth, Brentford or Birmingham.
Sod 'em. And if Kermegant gets both his legs broken, maybe, finally, we can stop the Yann lovers demand we re-sign him when he's 53, because "he can still do a job". To me, he is the enemy, and I HATE him.
And tough on any who don't like my attitude,15 -
I don't want Bournmouth to win but I'm not really bothered if they do
They mean nothing to me as a club
As in there's never been any agg when we've played em , unlike the northern scum we played today .....
They mean diddly squat , a proper nothing club
If they go up or not wont mean a thing
There's other clubs ,close at hand , who get my hate!
Francis was a wank player for us and don't give a hoot about him
Yann on the other hand gave me some of my greatest memories as a dad taking my first son to football
He scored in our first big away trip at Bolton away
He scored that memorable goal on the last day of the season against Hartlepool when we were crowned Champions
He done stuff that we tried to emulate in the garden
That hero is now replaced like all my previous ones with others
My sons want to be Gudmundsson or Tony Watt Watt Watt
Of course he didn't leave in the perfect way , he went about it the wrong way if some reports are true but he was being true to HIS family and I can understand that
He did the best for them as I will always do the best for my family.
Today I took 3 of my 4 boys to footy for the first time and Tony Watt Watt Watt was the name on their lips as we left the ground and when I discussed with my oldest ,who's 9, about the other results he asked "did Kermo score for Bournemouth" because as a player he left his mark on an impressionable boy , just as players did for me when I was a kid . He helped my son fall more in love with the beautiful game and I'm grateful for that.
And for anyone who doesn't like my attitude the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off

Quite a few people have mentioned Bournemouth spending their way to the top, so I was wondering - if they don't go up, will they face any sanctions next year?
If they will, then this seems a good reason to hope they stay down as they'll inevitably be weakened in the summer whereas I'd expect the likes of Boro, Norwich or Watford to mount a challenge again.
Just a thought, like.0 -

Football is entirely a partisan activity. Not a game.
I used to love Yann. But he has gone now. I don't give a damn about the reason for his leaving. I have not joined in any of the debate of the rights and wrongs of his leaving.
Why is it that Kermogant has been imbued with some sort of beatification, yet Parker is the anti-Christ?
If everyone is going to cream their jeans when Yann steps onto OUR pitch as an opposition player, will we all demand that Darren Bent be allowed to score a hat-trick at the Valley next season if he plays for Derby? Because, lets make no bones about it, Benty did 100 times more for our club than Kermogant did.
And God forbid if someone of the likes of Kinsella ever come to play at the Valley! (AND, YES, I KNOW HE HAS RETIRED! THIS IS A RHETORICAL COMNENT!)
Some of YOU, and your RIDICULOUS man love for Yann, has destroyed my own memories of him. Like all players, he came and he went. One of my favourite all time players, Billy Bonds, left. As soon as these players wear an opposition shirt, HE IS THE ENEMY.
Just for some of your information, because you seem to think he is not human, next season Yann will be pushing 36. He will have next to no resale value, he is not a goal keeper, who can go on into his 4Os. If we were to sign any other player of that age, there would be anti-RD protests, as "it would be showing no ambition".
I really don't understand why any true supporter would want an opposition team, and player, to beat MY team, on OUR pitch.
Like those who wanted CP to bring Huddersfield to the Valley, and beat us , "because he's such a nice man..."
YOU ARE NOT TRUE CHARLTON SUPPORTERS!
I will applaud Yann's name when when it is announced before kick off. Once the whistle blows, I want Joe Gomez (one of our own) to pick him up, put him in his pocket, and not let him out until the final whistle...

God we have some cringeworthy supporters.3

This is not the 1st time Yann has played against us at the valley.
I didn't notice any love in then.
Just respect, before the game.
I want CAFC to win every game regardless.
East stand Loopy; Please out the people who wanted us to lose to Huddersfield ?
You know there are people who would want us to lose to teams if it sent Millwall down ? Deluded, I only ever want CAFC to win.
My Easter was totally screwed after losing to Millwall. I hate losing, i did as a manager, coach, player and CAFC fan.
It's always good news if better player for oppos get a knock and go off in games against us ( be fit for their next game )
The day i want a opposition player to break a leg, i will seek help and give up going to Football.( Kevin Muscat was the one exception)

Just posted on another "Bournemouth" thread - not too bothered if they get promoted or not, but they have played some good football this year & deserve some recognition for that. Think it would be nice to see both team do a "lap of honour" at the end of the game & IF they do get promoted that their fans don't get on the pitch & spoil anything we may have planned for our team.1

I.hope if any Bournemouth get on our pitch that they get what's coming to them7

@soapboxsam there was one person on here, I can't remember who, that said that they hoped Powell would beat us and I think mentioned it for an U21 game too. However, that is just one of a couple of thousand subscribers on here.0
