Inevitably there will be Bournemouth fans in home areas. It could arguably be the biggest game in their history.
I just hope that, if/when they score, none of our fans get nobby about Bournemouth fans celebrating. When all is said and done the game has no real impact for us so let's allow them to enjoy their day and moment in the sun.3 -

My very first "abuse". Perhaps the person in question doesn't like the Upbeats. Because I can't think of any reason why an opportunity to raise money for such a worthy cause warrants that.Addick Addict said:Perhaps we could charge them say £10K to beam the match back to Bournemouth. With all the proceeds going to the Upbeats.
Have a great day darren_flapjack0 -

I disagree. They are welcome to be there as long as they show refrain. If a Bournemouth fan celebrates near my seat I will ask a steward to evict them. However if they come quietly and behave themselves then I'm fine with that.charente addick said:Inevitably there will be Bournemouth fans in home areas. Irrespective as to the importance to our season, I don't want opposition fans making a lot of noise where I sit with my ten year old son. We had similar issues some years ago with fans in the box behind us and it was two years before my wife would agree for me to take him again.11 -
exactly what I was going to post KHA, agree entirely.0
-
Incidentally, I want them to miss out. I am not comfortable with the money they ave spent, especially relatively based on their size and income.4
-
what KHA said, I don't want Bournemouth fans celebrating near me.
I want us to smash them and then they miss out on the play offs, lets see how the FFP deals with them then9 -
I'll get pretty pissed off if I sit next to any who get vociferous. No different to any other away fan getting loud. Fcuk 'em and their money.charente addick said:Inevitably there will be Bournemouth fans in home areas. It could arguably be the biggest game in their history.

So, Bournemouth score and one of their fans in home area in excitement stands up, claps, says 'yes' to themselves and then sits down with a smile on their faces, then the steward gets called? At a game with naff all riding on it for us.
Oh well.3 - Sponsored links:

Can't beleive that comment about getting on with it if a bournemouth fan cheers in our end. Absolute nonsense4

This season is going to the wire and charlton may well stop Bournemouth from going up on the last day. Far from there being lots of happy Bournemouth fans at the valley it could well turn out to be the complete opposite and letting them mingle in the home stands could turn ugly if they say or do anything out of line when they start losing and charlton fans take exception.5
-
After our last few results there,s not much chance of that happening !1
-
I think we should run on the pitch at the end looking nonchalant and applauding our players respectfully as we would do for any mid table finish. this just stops them from getting on the pitch.0
-
Fake outrage brigade will be out in the CAFC stands along with a few Bournemouth by looks of it....1
-
We all know the difference between someone not being able to contain themselves when they score but sitting back down and otherwise being respectful of their surroundings, compared to someone taking the piss and lording it.
The first category I'm'm sure will be left alone, the 2nd lot may get a reaction depending where they end up.3 -
Not thought of that scenario.letthegoodtimesroll said:This season is going to the wire and charlton may well stop Bournemouth from going up on the last day. Another reason why we should have gave them more tickets.-1 -
If the owners were not as they are now and Powell was still manager and, heaven knows how but, we had stayed up and then gone on a great run to secure another season in the 2nd tier of the best league system in the world...just if...would you still want to give home seats to away fans ?ElfsborgAddick said:

The signs on the turnstiles say home fans only, fairly simple to understand.charente addick said:So, Bournemouth score and one of their fans in home area in excitement stands up, claps, says 'yes' to themselves and then sits down with a smile on their faces, then the steward gets called? I like lots of people but I wouldn't invite them into my home to celebrate beating me/my family/my football team*PL54 said:

*Delete as you see fit.
As I said if they come in and tell us they are Bournemouth fans/and or keep quiet when they score (like I have done at many away grounds - including Forest in 2000) then I'm happy for them but if they celebrate like the fans in the away section then I think they can expect to have home fans disgruntled.
Even when there is nothing riding on the game I, always, prefer to see us win. If we don't then so be it but we shouldn't have opposition fans in our sands lauding it over us.

Yep right offensive that Bouremouth lot
If we were at Bournemouth and their ground was gonna be 2/3 full and we had the chance for promotion last game of the season to the Prem , the amount of bleating and crying from the glory /one game away day trippers about why don't they give us more tickets etc would flood the Thames
As long as they're not in your face let em get on with it
And if they get promoted , heaven forbid that some get on the pitch to celebrate , I mean we'd never do thatcough Carlisle
Charlton fans - crying like babies since 1905
Personally not too bothered , loved Yann for his miracles for us and can only wish him the best , he did what was best for his family even if it wasn't the best for us , I'd have done the same .
Last game of the season my thoughts will be at Molineux come on the Wanderers , don't let me down or I'll be crying like the weirdo that I am !13 -
There would be moaning but we would go.in their end and deal with the outcome like 99% of fans would do, I wouldn't expect to be welcomed or given seats to go in there and I would if I couldn't help it celebrate madly if that meant I got a dig I would not moan about it after or if I got nicked and slung out. bristol rovers was an example of a brilliant day out in the wrong end, didn't stop the bear ( I heard he has passed away) wanting to batter me and everyone in his path to do it, I certainly didn't expect him to give me a hand shake and a high five0

I sit in block d of the north stand and always lose my seat when they extend there as they put that bloody net across my seat. Bournemouth fans will be in other parts of the ground anyway..0
