500 free coaches put on for the day, 10K Bournemouth fans, Kermo scoring a 98th minute winner, commemorative "Operation Valley" tshirts on the day for the cherries fans, followed by a 5 disc blu-ray box set "The Only Way is Dorset", featuring the legendary Charlton game in 4K resolution and 3D, out in July, with guaranteed repeated mentions on the AFC B'mouth forums for years to come "I remember the Charlton game, it was like Dorset descended upon south east London, a bunch of us smuggled some cream tea into the away end...."
  • If it was us, we would get tickets in home ends and run the risk, let them do the same why give them any extra seats,

I say we give them the ground for the day and put our reserve team out. Plus nobody should mark Kerms.
  • If bournemouth take the piss at the valley then I'll be hoping with all my heart they go straight back down.

Hilarious that some on here are saying things like "fuck em" and "let em get on with their allocation", when they haven't suggested it should be any other way. It's Charlton fans on here who are doing that!

Probably a bit of jealousy that they're likely to be celebrating the biggest day of their history. Good luck to em either way.

We should just give them West-upper south side. No-one sits there and the whole area is covered in pigeon shit.............

Sounds like you're giving them a section of Chicago

Perhaps we could charge them say £10K to beam the match back to Bournemouth. With all the proceeds going to the Upbeats.

Bit harsh on the pigeons. We also don't want the the RSPCA coming down on us for forcing the birds from their natural habitat.
  • We should have given Bournemouth the same amount of tickets that they gave us...remind them they are a small club and if they want a bigger allocation for occasions like this they should have given us more tickets...

Define taking the pee? Did do we take the piss at Carlisle?

Ha, ha, tbh there's every possibility that I might be at the game with a couple of AFCB supporting mates given the way sales are going. I have sat with them watching us at Dean Court plenty of times in the past when I couldn't get tickets in our end, there are seats available, they aren't going to turn up in replica shirts or make a scene so I don't see them as taking the pee at all. They are going to see their team in one of the most important games in their clubs history.

There are going to be loads of them in the home areas imo. We've all done it so I don't think we can start getting all shirty when it happens to us.

Bournemouth don't come across as a team that have piss taking fans. If it was someone like Leeds or Wolves I would be concerned about them being in the home end.

I just hope there's lots of kleenex available cos when some take sight of Monsieur Kermogant there'll be tears and w**king in equal measure.

    Speak for yourself.

Remind them that they are a small club and if they want a bigger allocation for occasions like this they should of spent more of their history in the top two divisions, like us.

Charlton are missing a trick here. We won't seek out, we never do. Why not give Bournemouth a block of the East or West stand?

Give them them half the north upper I say. Would get the atmosphere going.

And cross bars to increase beer sales.

    From this:

    http://www.bournemouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=68947&start=1

It seems a few of them got in before the restrictions. A couple have bought in East Stand block B, thinking that A block was sectioned off.
  • The East Stand block A massive will have something to say about the Cherries in amongst them...
