Hull maybe a shit hole, it used to also stink of rotting fish, but having lived in Beverly ... The place not the girl, I can assure you the only think wrong with living in North Humberside is that it's 200 miles too far North.
In my three years living up their I had a great time, some of the best years of my career and a fantastic social life.
If Hull do want JBG then it's a deal that won't be done till the summer when he knows which division they will be in and we will be able to get top dollar for him as Hull will want him more than we will need to sell him. Hopefully though we will have him for at least another 12 months.0 -

The prem teams have a shed load of cash. No player going there from the Championship, at any age, should be less than £5mil.
All clubs need to raise their prices significantly as it is the only way we can start the share out of the riches. If the championship owners have not discussed this, they should.3 -

Last time we played Hull in an evening game, (6ish years ago), we stayed overnight.
When we arrived, at MIDDAY, to check into the hotel, (something like Premier Inn).
There was a bloke having a piss against the outside wall.
The following morning, we wanted some brekkie, before coming home & there was a Weatherspoons right there.
It was rammo at 10AM & few were eating. There was a number of women in their 80's knocking back the drink, memorable I have to say.
Never seen so many pissed people at 10am.7 -

well Yorkshire is a big county .. you're 'based' there ... visit Hull regularly do you from your 'base' .. if it's so awful, why bother ? .. and as for 'the worst place to live in the UK' .. I don't care who 'voted' in this poll, in my opinion (note my opinion), whatever the poll was, whatever the question that was asked, I know that I have been to far worse places than Hull .. Good and bad everywhere, although Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton as towns are a bit ropey.
I live in Bromley and I think is a nice area, some people will probably think otherwise, all about personal taste.0 -
