    It might end in tears, blah blah but it's not been a bad week to be a Charlton fan, has it? We're giving it a good go.

    I've reminded us in a previous post, it all feels similar to 1985 and Jimmy Hill's boast "no has beens, not free transfers".

    Surely we're not STILL 2nd favs for relegation?

    Maybe we won't follow up now if Bergdych is seen as likely to play wide left. Would of course give us further options but not sure we're likely to spend the figures being quoted now.

    Centre back is now the key upgrade required. What we get down in the coming couple of days here will give a good idea of where we can aim as a squad next season.
