Verstappen is starting to show his true colours now. Pretty flawless when his car was pissing over everyone else, but not coping with being challenged. He’s doing his reputation no favours at all with his shitty behaviour.
It’s a real pity because he’s a great driver. Loads of booing for him in the post race interview.
Absolutely right Dave. He is. I’d really like to like him, but until he stops being a prick, I’ll cheer the other bloke on.
Crazy race. Max once again shows himself up as the prick he is. Also who is voting on him being driver of the day?! Anyway title decider next week and Lewis has done well to take it it the final race.

They will look at the car telemetry in Verstappen's car. There are two conflicting points, in his favour it didn't affect the outcome, but on the other side, if he brake tested Hamilton it is cheating and it would be hard to avoid a punishment. That is in a normal world. Giving Verstappen a choice in terms of hi punishment. WTF!!! But they have to stop Verstappen stretching the line to the point he is doing.
He needs Horner to put his arm around him, calm him down and get him focussed. Instead he just makes excuses for all his c***y behaviour and whinges and bitches to the stewards on his behalf at every opportunity. Very poor behaviour from a team principal.

Max has probably got the whole of Holland voting for him. Thought it should have been Ocon today.
Just feel this is a good time to say, in my opinion this has been one of the best f1 seasons in living memory.
It’s had everything including, regardless of which side you are on, a hero and a villain.
Whoever wins next week will be a deserving champion. Two outstanding drivers pushing it hard. Some will disagree on whether the driving has been fair and there have been arguments on both sides. But both of these guys are terrific drivers. And they’ve given us a classic season.
I mean I know fuck all about motor racing and want Hamilton to beat the twat Verstappen but I thought immediately it was a pure accident when Hamilton didn’t go past him and Verstappen was slowing down .
I've got no favourite in the title battle. I just hope it's settled fair and square and not with some Senna Vs Prost or Schumacher Vs Jacques rubbish.
2022 I hope it's a bit more of a 3-4 way scrap with the likes of Russell and Perez actually being right in the mix. Maybe even the 2 Ferraris if they get the rules right .
Verstappen is summoned to the stewards for an alleged breach of Breach of Article 2 (d) Chapter IV Appendix L of the FIA International Sporting Code.
This says: "Causing a collision. Repetition of serious mistakes or the appearance of a lack of control over the car (such as leaving the track) will be reported to the Stewards and may entail the imposition of penalties up to and including the exclusion of any driver concerned."
Both teams are being disingenuous regarding the the DRS line in my opinion.
Verstappen was clearly trying to pull a fast one by letting Hamilton through before the line. We saw him try to bend the rules afterwards when he “let him through” knowing full well he’d have the position and momentum to retake, so he’s more than happy to play dirty if he can get away with it and giving it the old “maybe that’s what Hamilton was doing” smells dirty to me. On the flip side, it did seem a bit weird that Hamilton didn’t jump on the chance to overtake unless he too was thinking about using DRS on the next straight.
In my opinion, they’re both lying and they both know it.

Totally agree. In the past Wolff has not been shy in criticising Hamilton and been open about what he thinks Lewis should do. Horner never, ever does that in public, and based on the fact that Verstappen keeps doing the same things, clearly not in private either.
The difference between them over the last few weeks is Lewis's experience and maturity, as Lewis himself alluded to in his post match interview. I just can't see Max not running Lewis off the road should Hamilton have to overtake him in the final race.

Wonder if the Saudis realised or whether it was accidental

As they wouldnt have got out ahead of Ocon, let alone build the 5secs to keep second.
