Where Hamilton could retire is if the Merc is not up to speed but I doubt that will be the case. In the long term, Hamilton's legacy could easily be strengthened by this.
I admit i got it wrong, Jean Todt has handed the whitewash brush over to Ben Suleyman and Bernie Ecclestone's wife (new FIA vice president). He (Ben Suleyman) is considering penalising Lewis for not turning up at the FIA gala. You couldn't make these bunch of clowns up. Toto was right, it should be about Sport first and entertainment second.

I was amused to see that, when talking about potentially punishing Hamilton, Ben Suleyman said “I appreciate Hamilton was hurt by what happened at Abu Dhabi, but rules are rules.” The irony is extraordinary. Next level stuff.
"Final decisions will be announced on the eve of the new season."
That'll make the fight with Lewis Hamilton interesting, as imagine he'd consider retirement if he's not happy with the outcome of the Abu Dhabi GP - Cant blame him either, if Masi keeps his job now, then whats to stop F1 just becoming a fixed drama rather than a sport.

Yes, not sure if you read it all but it does say Lewis will will have an idea which way this is heading long before the eve of the new season but they appear to be adding drama into an inquiry that caused the drama.
We'll be getting some of the new car designs over the new few weeks - Red Bull showing their car today, although imagine the livery wont be too different.

That's a big commitment from McLaren and Lando. Wonder if there might be something to those Audi rumours of last season?
Also takes one of the main contenders for any potential Mercedes seat for 2023 off the table.
Going by the likes of Chris Medland and Will Buxton on twitter, looks like its also been done to keep Red Bull and Mercedes at bay, as seems there has been serious interest at the very least from the former - Not good for Gasly really.

I'm not surprised there was legit interest from Red Bull in Lando, although it would have curtailed any chance of Gasly getting back to the main team from AT. Think the frontrunners would always have their eye on someone like Lando even with their own internal options.
They also said that these aren't new, they already have the entire transcript of the race with all the messages from all sides. It's just "new" to the public
I just wish the Aston had a bit more of the neon lime on it, I fear come raceday the colour won't show up well on TV and they and the Alpine will look the same again

That Aston livery looks lovely and apparently that's the actual car too.
Wouldnt be surprised either if it is the actual car, its the first one I've seen with what look like air vents on the sides.
