Shite tyre strategy from Merc - the hard is not fast enough and the other tyres are not wearing out fast enough

Sounds like he's gonna finish his days as an F1 Reserve Driver

Probably gonna go to Mercedes, hope that he'll replace Hamilton when he retires, yet instead by that stage they'll just sign Ocon or Norris

Merc really should have listened to Russell when he said about going long on mediums until the softs - Just look at Danny Ric's pace now

So much for my excitement earlier - this has been a total snore fest.

What we have learnt here is Red Bull are a couple tenths faster than Merc. And Max / Lewis are a couple of tenths faster than their team mates.

Which we already knew

Even before the race started they were talking about the longevity of the mediums, I don’t understand why Mercedes chose the hard.

This is what every race was like from 2017 until last year and people wondered why I wanted Merc dominance to end

Lewis clearly not happy with the tyre choice. He is always happier being the attacker on better/faster tyres.

I think Hamilton understood why hards were chosen and ultimately I doubt it cost him a win. It might have been closer but rolling the dice made sense.

Has still been the same all season with negative pit calls in the hope that the race falls into their lap.

F1 definitely feels like quantity over quality right now. A lot of races, but not enough good tracks and exciting races.

Doesn't help that Ferrari appear to be going through the motions now with eyes firmly set on next season again. 

I do feel some of the recent circuits have been a bit meh though, for all the cool atmosphere etc at this circuit, I actually find the Mexican GP layout fairly dreadful

Just watched the hi lights, Christ that was dull. Hats off to those that watch it live, I would be asleep by lap five.

Returned to watching F1 this season in the hope the pre season changes would make it a bit more exciting. 

I am glad Moto GP is alive and kicking

Russell lucky to be starting 3rd after binning it. Would take a leaf out of Indycar in these situations where the person responsible for the red flag gets their fastest lap deleted

Hopefully Hamilton wont get a penalty for the start procedure, as Sainz getting a penalty means we'll have a Merc front row lock out
