That’s a lot of traffic to get through
  • Perez: "Wow... I'm having a decent race for once, I'm right behind Max"
    RB: "Yeaaaaaaaaa"
  • Get ready for the Torro Rosso FL at the end - more poison from the RB family.

Soft tyres on to the RB, after that incident, you know what that means...
  • Been a great fight between Hamilton and Russell today... I know they're team mates, but consider their battle in Belgium as well, those two know how to keep it clean

Perez's snarky comments about Lawson are a bit out of order. Think that was just a racing incident with Franco.

  • Thanks Ferrari - another point back for Max in the championship battle!

He should stop watching highlights and focus on moving forward in the race. At least next season he should be able to watch the full race on TV whilst Liam takes his seat, certainly if there is any justice!!

1.18.3 for Leclerc, Perez set a 1.19.2 so absolutely nowhere near haha

Enjoyed that race, thought Norris did well to wind up Verstappen and keep his car on the road before just driving professionally. Barely saw Sainz which is usually a mark of quality too

Be interesting to see how friendly Lando is towards the Dutch twat now. He's finally realising that he is dangerous, not a hard racer.

Enjoyable race. I thought the incidents involving Verstappen and Norris were born last week. There is no way Norris should have got a penalty last week as Max was carrying too much speed and couldn't keep on the road, so you penalise both or neither. You could tell from Max's comments after that race that he interpreted this judgement that it is ok to drive as aggresively as he did today.

Max wouldn't have done that with a Ferrari. He did it with Norris because he knew it helps him if they both crash out. If he crashes out with another car it disadvantages him. He is basically a snidey little cheat. We saw the way he drives against Hamilton a few years back. He is very talented, no question, but he would sell his own grandmother to win. This becomes clear when the car is not head and shoulders above the others. No point appealing to drivers like him to drive reasonably, you have to throw penalties at him.

I think the whole team is deluded from the top down. This is all going to end in tears for them unless they do something major about Max's race craft. Perez is an absolute non entity.

What helped was they had no chance of making up any places and no chance of being caught by Verstappen. This meant there was no urgency for Hamilton and he could keep the pressure clean in the knowledge it would tell at some point. It was a good watch though.

He’s been at Red Bull too long. Everything about that team is classless and totally lacking in grace.

They won't dare tell him anything. They are scared shitless that he will leave them too.
Perez is a joke and I can only think that it is Verstappen's call that he has stayed so far.
Hopefully, the team is now in a downward spiral.

What an absolutely cracking season F1 2024 has evolved into. Looked a total dud after 5 or 6 races but it now feels like ages since we’ve had a bad race.

Feels like the sport I remember from my youth in the 90s. We don’t know who will win from race to race, multiple teams have the potential to win races, good on track battles, strategy and tyre management allow the races to evolve so the fastest car at the start isn’t necessarily the fastest car at the end. It’s making for great racing, including today, and we have the pantomime villain that is Verstappen to sprinkle on some outrage too (great to see the stewards finally stand up to him and stop enabling him pushing the rules to their limits).

Sadly, I think, without a DNF for Verstappen, it just doesn’t look like Norris will be able to get enough points more than Verstappen to wrestle away the driver’s title.

With no major changes to the regs, it should, however, make for an even better season from the start next year, and with Ferrari going the at they are, maybe even that 8th title for Hamilton is back in play. What a story that would be!

Hopefully 6 penalty points on his license too, minimum.

Think they should bring back the pit stop penalties personally, like a 10 second stop and go

Absolutely, drive through and stop go penalties would stop some of this awfuldriving, +5 or + 10 seconds is not penalty enough.

Perez whining about Lawson is absolutely ridiculous behaviour. How many more chances is he going to get?
