Possible striker signings?

ok I know we have the talismanic Mak, the prolific Reza, the half fit Vaz Te and promising kids KAG and Lookie but that isn't enough for various reasons, the main one being they have, Vaz Te aside, less than 10 league goals between them in English first team football. We need another experienced striker in on loan imo. Who though? Let's have some serious suggestions, I'll start the ball rolling :

Frazier Campbell

  • Get Adam Armstrong off Newcastle?
  • Kemar Roofe off Oxford (midfielder but looks to have bags of ability)

Defoe is not getting many games at Sunderland, maybe he'd like return to where his career started?

    Ok maybe not
  • C'mon Large ,you're dreaming, there's no incoming striker.

I do not think there will be another Striker coming in. I believe the powers that be are going to hope Vaz Te comes good, Igor recovers quickly and continue to blood the youngsters in the mean time. But for the sake of throwing a name out there. Peter Odemwingie is not getting much game time.

Don't mind if we bring in an attacking midfielder either to be honest, but need someone. We were already lacking in attacking numbers, so one in and one out wouldn't solve the problem. Campbell would be a decent shout.

Seriously of all the players we could have been sent as part of the network and RD didnt think to send us Michy Batshuayi!!!

i.e. He could have joined us, fired us into the Premier League, made his name there and RD would have got twice as much money (and I'm not joking with this part)

Peter Kabat 26 goals in 74 appearnaces for his current team.
Velimir Jovanović scored almost a goal every other game in Germany.
Óscar Plano scored eighteen goals for Real Madrid.

No need to look any further.

Decent striker called Tony Watt over at Cardiff
  • We could never afford him but I'd like to see us get Tom Bradshaw from Walsall

    He's already here.

Vaz Te is the incoming striker, I would imagine.

  • A decent left sided midfielder might be more of a priority?

    Darren Bent from Derby?
    Paul Benson from Luton?
    Young Kevin Lisbie from Barnet?
    Simon Church from MK Dons?
    Izale McLeod from Notts County?
  • I dont think anyone will come in
  • I think its more likely to be a centre back or midfielder than a striker.

£35m from Newcastle... Same article says RD sold him to Marseille for £4.2m

Hope RD has a sell on clause in the deal.
