  • well done the youngsters and to those contributed to the YouTube broadcast
  • well played you yoof !
    deserved it.
Pens were perfect and 2 good saves too.
    Who is Millar?

    Definitely not Roger......
  • Thanks who ever done the live feed .would be great if we could do a few more .thanks again.
  • If our current u18 and u21's were allowed to play in in the top cat, how do you think we'd get on?
  • I thought Konsa looked very cool on the ball with good passing! Next to break into first team possibly?
  • Late at work but managed to follow. Thought we shaded the game itself, but some good penalties and two great saves, including the first one which is so important. Not often we put one over our local spanner friends! Excellent

Great feed and camerawork too. Really impressed with the whole set up.
  • Good watching this.

Blondie in CM was the star for me lead as captain looks a top prospect.

Also a note on the tackles flying in from both sides, very refreshing to see the ref let them go lot of them would've been tellows in first team.
  • Well done the lads

  • Anderson looked good. Fantastic energy, good skills and pace. The future looks good.

Good of the club to let it be shown live. Over 1000 on line I think they said.

Officer Dibble would chase them off

    (one for the kids there)
    OK TC HI

  • Thanks as always and hopefully we can do more and more of these and I welcome any feedback you have on them.

It was an excellent service, but I did get annoyed that every time Charlton attacked, the camera choice switched to behind the goal, and you lost the flow while your viewpoint re-registered. This is not a criticism of the camera operators, but of the "director's choice". Made it a bit disjointed for me, but still enjoyed it!
  • Thanks for your comments today about the stream. Hopefully those of you who missed it can catch up on YouTube as it will be up there to watch on demand.

A lot of hard work goes into this, I spent most of the day cabling but credit has to go to the University of Greenwich who as previously mentioned none of this would have been able to happen without. The camera operators were superb but also credit to the replay operator, who was getting the replays ready for me to cut to so quickly.

They all did exceptionally well for the penalties and I have to say mixing the penalties, switching to replay, editing graphics, pushing live cameras back on screen then pushing the graphics up is a very hard thing to do in such a short amount of time!

As previously mentioned we are trialling with these multi-camera streams and hope to do as many as we can, just need to make sure we get the numbers each time to justify it which today happened.

Thanks as always and hopefully we can do more and more of these and I welcome any feedback you have on them.

Couldnt see the team line ups as the match was being played, what was all that about?
  • Any chance of a beam back for home games.

Didn't catch it all but very impressed!

I think you've said before about issues with colour balancing the cameras, but the the general camera work and slo-mo's were excellent

    Thumbs up from me
  • Well done to the Boys! Great coverage, thanks to the team.
  • Decent crowd as well. We do seem to have a talented bunch of youngsters in both categories,

  • Enjoyed the coverage congrats to all concerned with that, top job.
Nice performance from the lads,Anderson,Lapslie,Millar all looked good but a job well done by all...and we beat Millwall :)
  • Well done Mr. Adamson and Co. Really enjoyed the coverage which was excellent.
  • Yes, I'd like to add my 'Well Done' to the guys that provided the coverage. Very professional imo. The commentary was excellent too. And well played the boys. I thought they had a bit more craft and guile than the opposition. Quite a few of those boys look like they have terrific careers ahead of them. Best of luck in the next round.
  • Any chance of a beam back for home games.

Now I know why Roland picked UoG to be the shirt sponsor.

Thanks, I'll take that on board, didn't get any complaints about that however next time we might stick to using that camera for replays
  • Very good all round - and we beat the Spanners too. !
  • When is the draw for the next round?
  • Well done to the players, the academy and all those who contributed to the you tube showing.

Wouldn't be a problem if it was adopted for home games then !
