Mr Murray , how can you support a regime that is very quickly flushing this once great football club down the toilet?

I've said it before. I'd have more respect for you if you walked away and actually told it like it is.
Painting a pretty picture for this bunch of chancers has done your reputation no good whatsoever.

    I have a lot of time for Murray but it seems all he is doing now is acting as a cheerleader to give the current owner and his puppets credibility. His store of goodwill has, sadly, been used up.

    He's still got some loans in there hasn't he, repayable on us reaching the promised land? I know that is clutching at straws but can't see him burning the last slat on his rope bridge.

    Absolutely no idea whether that is only a tiny bit viable, but I can't see any other option as being likely at this point.

    I can't believe Peter Varney takes any pleasure from our current situation. No idea why I have the feeling that we haven't seen the last of him. Clutching at straws perhaps.

    I can't believe Richard takes much delight from our current position, he must feel like he's been sold a dud like the rest of us, surely he can impart some common sense into Katrien and Roland?

    I think what others inc SHG are saying is that they'd give their eye teeth to have Peter Varney back on board but only as a Chairman/Director/co owner .

    No way would he sully his reputation or risk his sanity by working under the current regime.

    This "joke of a club" would have every chance of turning around that description if he, and/or someone of a similar ilk was involved again.

    Like AFKA, I too can dream....

    Must have felt like that after welcoming in Slater, Jimminez and Cash too. Sadly for RM since the Prem relegation and with the exception of one season, it has been a litany of poor decisions and dissapointment.

    but only 2% ?! .. my thoughts (I know f all about the real state of CAFC finances past or present) is that if a viable Murray-led buy out consortium is a viable possibility, where was it when Duchatelet took over ? .. or has the value of the club dropped to rock bottom and now the price may be right for such a scenario as you hope/want/think is a possibility.
    I suspect that the old Duch will hang on until the club hits bottom, or, of course, the (at present) unlikely situation that we recover, avoid relegation and make a right good go of it next season.
    I was/still am perhaps prepared to give Duchatelet and his team some time .. BUT .. yesterday emphasised to even me, a born optimist, that we are in the quicksand and sinking quicker, the current squad, as promising as many are, is just too callow and inexperienced for this division

    Having seen RM laugh at those who tried to engage him in discussion at Sheff Weds game, I think RM is willing to align with anyone that gives him any chance of getting some of his money back. Can't blame him in many ways but think people are dreaming if they think the 'old' Murray will appear as a white knight!

    I don't think it's got anything to do with money. I think he agrees with the Duchatelet approach. Damaged by his own experiences.

    Part of the RD strategy to avoid paying 100% of the preferential debt could be to stay in the nether regions of the Championship long enough to make it attractive for RM & others to accept a "cents on the dollar" offer on the basis that something is better than nothing?
