It's much too late to find
When you think you've changed your mind
You'd better change it back or we will both be sorry

    Jose Riga baby
    Jose Riga....Whooooah

Well done lads, great win, long overdue.
  • Riga has been with us just over two weeks and brought in one central defender from Liege. Next week we can climb out of the bottom three.
    Next season we can dream?

Amazing how good a win feels, talking of MASSIVES been spooked by a little Shrew. Most pleased by the goals and the fact we are seemingly a team that gives a toss again.
  • Really enjoyed it our finishing was excellent lookmsns run and finish was just something we havent had at the club in years I really hope they dont sell him but we all know they will,

Can see Igor lookie and big Mak playing as a three we would cause cahos going forward

    It's the play-offs, then.

Watching Jeff Stelling waxing lyrical about Charlton's result and the wife turns to me and says, "Not often you hear the words 'Charlton' and 'fabulous' in the same sentence!"

"At the end of the Season, this game will be looked upon as the pivotal match, which either turned our season around are confirmed the trapdoor was opening ? The trapdoor is Cafc to win 3-1 and we live to fight another day, on and off the pitch."

    1 goal out.

    With Rotherham coming up tomorrow,
where last year He was repeatedly kicked by both CB up at the New York stadium and his Nightmare was about to start.
How fitting if Igor could score and stay fit for his sake and ours.

    Good preview Sam !

Honestly completely indifferent. This lot have destroyed my passion for Charlton.

The Riga adulation is weird though, he is very mch part of Roland's empire & I don't buy into it at all.

So pleased with that. Can go away happy now. Jose Riga's red and white army! Or purple.

Great performance and a timely reminder of why I love this club so much.
  • Enormous credit to José Riga. To take the shambles he inherited and in his third game turn it round to thrash a relegation rival like this is great, great work.

Make no mistake that was a fabulous result and will no doubt be highly significant come the end of the season. I'm delighted!
  • Great result, can't read too much into it because Rotherham were absolutely shocking. However it'll do wonders for our confidence especially with 3 strikers scoring.

    Huge game next week!

Makienok and Vetokele look dangerous together, long may it continue

  • Sorry to piss on every ones fireworks
Yes it was a great away win and a pressure game we just had to win but it was was Rotherham who with Bolton are the worse 2 teams in the league
    Yup even worse than us
I do think Riga was the best we was going to get and I quite like the guy
So prove me wrong and win the next 3

Stream was good, dodgy five minutes after half time but that was it.

I'm genuinely, and pleasantly, surprised at how clinical we were today.
Our defense does seem to have more concentration now although there were still some shaky moments. One in particular when Lennon slipped, however he recovered very well to get pressure on the Rotherham player. I didn't see a good replay of their goal but it looked as though Fox had tucked in too much and Bergdich didn't come round on the cover.

Saying that, Bergdich feeling the Riga motivation that CH had last time round? He was a threat and pressed well, plus an assist.
Makienok looked more up for the fight today and took both his goals well.
Igor, if he gets back to the form of first 10games of last season we'll stay up.
Cousin owned the midfield, clever passing, good running and tackling.
JBG, 3 assists, can't do much more than that. His bit of skill in the first half where he beat 2 or 3 players was beautiful.

Stroud was having a good game but you knew he would give a penalty against us at some point. Rotherham got exactly what they deserved after trying to get Makienok sent off, that CB is an absolute prick of the highest order.

    In conclusion, Riga is God.

Two great highlights in the slow mo stream which is still running,.
    1. JJ was an amazing influence on the park today. Long chat to Teixeira after the penalty
    2. Long chat with Big Mac on way back to half way after his 2nd.
    3. Loved Solly getting in their penalty takers face as he missed, with some choice words seen in slo mo!
    4. I cant count, but wanted the number 4 in my post, cos we dont see it very often.

If we played Huddersfield away today there is no way we'd get smashed 5-0. Just goes to show what having an actual manager can achieve. Support the team including Riga , and not the regime.
  • Jose Riga baby...

Well done lads, Riga and the travelling support

As long as we don't sell Lookman we have a chance

Unfortunately the success of the team will justify the regime.

I reckon we need more than 6 wins, 8 at least. God knows where they are going to come from as I don't think we have too many teams as bad as Rotherham left to play, excepting Bolton.
