    Ha Ha Ha.

    The club takes it seriously.

Pity they don't take managing this club more seriously then, isn't it.

Badly written and passive aggressive in tone - presumably KM herself actually wrote that, as it sounds like her?

Sounds like it is straight from Life of Brian.

"This document is false and the club is investigating the matter as it is something we take seriously. And he's a very naughty boy

From the age of 18 for a year I had a job that required me to sign off 200 or so stock transfer forms a day. My signature quickly changed out of all recognition from a fairly basic writing out of my name to an indecipherable scrawl. (Unless I thought there was anything dubious about the transfer in which case I used to sign off as "Mary Poppins".)

Never ever considered a 'John Bull' kit then  .
    That would have been good.

We were provided with an ink pad and one of these to help things along.

    Really handy.
If your name was 20 Jul 2020, and your signature was a bit, well, blocky.
  • Excellent work.

Should have just acknowledged the humour and moved on.

Obviously did not have siblings, would have learnt that by the age of 10.

The club is aware of a document that has appeared on Companies House.

This document is false and the club is investigating the matter as it is something we take seriously.

Read more (not really - that's it) at http://www.cafc.co.uk/news/article/charlton-statement-companies-house-2945987.aspx#uMcgOQddmeb3fot1.99

Well, the good news is that this produced communication from the club, so even though (sadly) it turned out to be true, we know they are monitoring social media. and forums.

Hilarious stuff. Whoever it was, good work. As AB says 'on Companies House', doesn't even make sense. Who puts this crap out?

No, it was important she let us know she was cross and sent us to the cyber naughty step. Now, what other similar mischief can we inflict on her?
  • She's such an easy wind up. This really should be fully exploited as the campaign moves forward.

Can't believe how easy it is to do all this - https://gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/470441/TM01_V5.0.pdf

Wish i had thought of it tbh!

If the form was posted; which it looks like then it's going to be incredibly hard to pin it on anyone

Why would they even comment on this? Just straighten it out with Companies House - 'nothing to see here' etc. Its just throwing petrol on the bad publicity fire. I hate the grammar police too but that is a horrific piece of writing they've boshed out on the website (in the usual state of panic).

New comms manager must be thinking WTF have i walked into here!
  • More of this sort of thing is exactly what's needed to make her working life unbearable..

Great work whoever did it (I think PL54 has to be the main suspect given his attempts above pretending he thinks the form can only be submitted online. Finally, using his Troll Super Powers for good, at last)

A bit like the Hatton Garden heist, the perpetrator(s) should get away with it and their enginuity and gusto should be celebrated. Its a big fat well done from me
