I could hear the tittering on CL when I said it. And I will admit it was slightly tongue in cheek but I did think on this track we did have a chance, albeit a big outside one, with our batting. We do have some very good T20 batsmen and the one thing about chasing a score as big as this you never have any doubt as to what is needed.
Our bowling and specifically Jordan (who will probably never consistently come good) and Topley (who probably will be OK but is too inexperienced at the moment) are the weak links. Having said that, none of the seamers on either side seemed to be able to get it right.1 -
