Swale Heating put in a new boiler, 3 new raditors and some extra pipe work for us at a very reasonable price. We couldnt afford all of it upfront either so they agreed to a finance agreement over 12 months at 0%.

As a guide, British Gas offered the same boiler, parts and labour ar almost 60% more and a finance agreement at a rate of 21%!

  • BG told our tenants the boiler was unsafe, would poison them with CO2, etc and needed a new one a x thousands..

This was the same boiler that was certified safe by them a month earlier and serviced, and under a BG contract....

When we complained the guy said he would speak to the engineer, hmm, great.
  • Boiler scrappage system launched:

A government scheme that gives households in England £400 off the cost of a new boiler has been launched.

Cheers for putting some cash into my local economy Shipwreck...
  • Next Monday we are getting a new combi bolier system for free off of the local council using a scheme that all councils have but don't brag about.

If you claim various tax credits etc you can have upto £3500 worth of work done to improve your home (new windows, doors, heating etc).
  • cheers
