    Have a safe trip guys.
I'm guessing you're in Germany and not Eltham!
    Hope you enjoy the game.
  • Hi!
    GA on Tour!
Hopefully to see a lot of you next week against Derby!
We'll arrive on Sat morning with a camper and stay 1 night at Abbey Wood Camping Site. What's going on nearby?

    Crime and stabbings mainly :-)

Only joking. Abbey Wood / Charlton / Greenwich are on the same train line. Would recommend after the game going into Greenwich for the evening. Greenwich back to Abbey Wood would be about 15 mins on way home.

    Enjoy

Greenwich, Charlton or blackheath and a train back to abbeywood, assuming they are running OK.

Though the abbey ruin at abbey wood is amazing if you like that kind of thing. And the woods. And the new sainsburys. Can't think of anything else.

We will sort out our trips out when the new fixtures are online. If there will be a boat trip down the Thames for the Southend match we are definitely interested. But first of all we will be at the Burnley game.

A friend told me Patrick Bauer was in The Royal Oak after last Saturday's home game. If it was him he certainly didn't reveal much about his future
and gave the usual info about see what happens in the summer.

Yes,Patrick was there last Saturday. He lost a bet and had to served out a beer. He drunk a bottle of water. He didn`t told anything about next season.
He is a good guy and we had a little smalltalk.

Had the chance to meet the guys this weekend (Otto missing, sadly). They are indeed a great bunch. They followed us before into League One, and they are already planning to do so again. And, after meeting @FannyFanackapan, @GermanAddick and @MadGerman duly laid a towel over the table in Crossbars ready for PoTY 2017 !!

We will be back soon. In our early years the match experience was the most important thing to us. These days, after meeting you all @GlassHalfFull, @HantsAddick, @FannyFanackapan, @Baldybonce, our Irish Friends (Tom, Martin, Joseph ...) and many more, the time before and after the match became more and more important.
We hope that the Addicks will soon get a new owner, a proper manager, players that will act as a team. Then promotion will be reality in May 2017.

I hope I don't end up as dreamer and fool.

Your right about the time after the match....usually better then the match itself.
