Available on a free as Man City have announced they're not renewing his contract. Could be a worthwhile punt for a season in the Championship. I rated him at QPR and West Ham, he just seemed to have slipped down the pecking order at Man City.

We've already got one fat party boy winger, don't need another one!

    Agree with Ormiston.
What we need is young, hungry (not an Andy reid type of hungry) players keen to prove themselves. Not old boys here for a pay day. Much rather have Jarvis from the Gills than Sinclair.

Nope...he's too injury prone, which means he'll be arriving next week on a three year contract.

Injury prone? Good, Can we make sure we pay over the odds And play him up front on he's own...cynic shout?

Good player in his time but danger of a JFH type flop I fear.

If you want a punt on an experienced wide man then we could do a lot worse than our old player Shaun Newton. He might be able to do a job at right back too if (when) Luke goes. Keith Peacock says in his book that he reckons right back is Newts best position.

Coked up has been, great call, sends all the right signals. Lets make Marcus captain too.

Yes he done the crime but he also served the time.

Therefore the slate is (or should be) clean.

I see what you mean Len but I don't think Newton is the sort of outfield player we need.

Not sure about the slate but the mirror is certainly clean :-)

Sorry regret those comments.....putting away his wembley penalty deserves more than that. Still don't think he's the answer at RB though.

    S.
  • I always thought Newton would have made a good right back but don't think he's the answer now.

BBC pundit and former England footballer Trevor Sinclair has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, common assault and criminal damage.
  • Not so clever Trevor
  • I thought we were signing him in January!

Why must race always come up in times like this.

Doesn't matter if he's black, white, brown or whatever - if someone has been drink driving, has injured someone they should face the music as opposed to throwing the race card out there.

In my experience those who point straight to the race issue are the most racist of all.
