He shouldnt work for them again.

If it was the other way and a white pundit racially abused a black police officer, would he be back working for the BBC after 10 months??
I don’t know, I don’t have much to do with recruitment at the BBC. Should he ever be allowed to work again then?

Are you for real. Geeza convicted of racial abuse and you wanna start debating it. Do you big Ron should be back on our screens then?
  • Think the biggest example is Andy Gray

He made nothing more than a sexual joke on SKY and now I cant imagine them touching him with a barge pole, same with BBC so he's forced to work for Middle East TV who dont care about that sort of thing

Trevor Sinclair on the other hand gets a reprieve...

    Ask Big Ron
  • I work in education- I know I wouldn’t work again. Probably not a valid comparison but he’s very fortunate IMO

  • He made nothing more than a sexual joke

    That's not what I heard.

Debating what? The racial abuse or the idea that he should never be allowed to work again? If it’s the latter than yes, I’m interested to know how long people think he should be unemployed for.

I think peoples issue is with who he is being employed by.
  • It’s bad enough that the licence fee is mandatory and I strongly object to part of my fee going towards the salary of someone who calls a policeman a white cunt so to answer your question, never. Let him go and find work at Bein or Aljazeera.

    Nah, you're alright thanks.

    Par for the course

If the course is racial abuse towards white people then it's fair game, we all jump on people with even perceived racial prejudice and outcast them. However it's OK to call white police officers white c

You have to trust me on this, FA - Gray's behaviour was way, way worse than a single sexual joke. The man was a bully. A nasty piece of work to anyone outside of his little circle. He made a lot of people very uncomfortable with his behaviour.

prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.
    "a programme to combat racism"

synonyms: racial discrimination, racialism, racial prejudice/bigotry, xenophobia, chauvinism, bigotry, bias, intolerance; More
    anti-Semitism;

    historicalapartheid

•the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races

These articles always make me laugh, the above is the Oxford dictionary's definition of Racism. So surely white people can be victim of racism. However the dictionary I imagine was written by a "White" man so surely can't count.

My thoughts as a whole is I don't think using someone's colour followed by a swear word shouldn't be deemed as racist anyway.

  • Are you saying it's as insulting as using someone's general appearance or say, weight or that using skin colour is worse?

I think you are saying you shouldn't use skin colour as a derogatory remark as you used a double negative in the sentence, which is right
