Even though I tried more than once I couldn't get half way through those hugely repetitive jargon-ridden job details before my eyes glazed over and my brain seized up. Surely the role to be filled and the qualities sought in the candidates could more clearly and engagingly be conveyed in few concise sentences appropriate to the club's situation?
When I see this kind of stuff I don't know whether the employer simply lacks the wit to break out of a standard cut-and-paste approach urged upon them by a lazy recruitment agent, or whether agency and employer are engaged in some sort of conspiracy (conscious or otherwise) to sound more 'dynamic' and generally big-up whatever job is being advertised, however exalted or humble.
End of senior citizen's rant......
Hear, hear. After reading the first line, I couldn't get 'This little piggy went to market' out of my head.
Two more gone apparently, Vera Lazellari Disability Liaison Officer and Jack O'Sullivan Supporters Liaison Office - both of whom were very helpful.
Why did they go? Not got a clue.
I've heard this too, stoney.
Can't speak about Vera but why would the club now need a Supporter Liaison Officer if they're looking to sell ?
There's also a rumour going round that he now works in a beer making establishment.....
Stop it Fanny, you'll get yourself into trouble again.
I think it is now a Football League requirement that clubs have a designated Supporter Liaison Officer so I assume someone is taking on the role in the short term a least.

I am connected to Vera Lazellari on LinkedIn and I believe she left Charlton months, rather than weeks ago.
she did, but they kept it quiet
I think it was about two months, given it was leaked to me after the March issue had gone to press ... and following the rather unusual leaving ceremony.

I heard that the leaving ceremony was like a ticker tape parade

That depends on whether its at Charlton (probably around £40k) or virtually any other club (twice as much)

She only expressed an opinion
Guy who sits in front of me asked someone who'd stepped in for the flag parade who confirmed it.
