Pleased for them both. Sancho seems to be a really exciting, direct, attacking player that could be auseful option for England - doubt Southgate will take him to Russia though.
Spoke to an Everton fan at the weekend who was fuming at the treatment of Lookman. The fans love him, but he just won't get a chance at Goodison, especially now Big Sam is there.

They must all be gutted he didn't go to Derby on loan.

I've seen a lot of Sancho this year and I think the World Cup comes a year, maybe even just six months too early. He's going to be something special but he's still very raw and learning the game, which you expect from an 18 year old. If Southgate wants to take a raw, promising attacker as a bit of a wild card he should take Lookman or possibly Solanke. Lookman, right now, is just streets ahead of Sancho, which again given their age and experience you expect. But I can't see a scenario where you take Lingard and Sterling and Lallana and Dele and Rashford and still need to take both Lookman and Sancho. Especially playing a 3-4-1-2.

Never seen Solanke play but I see at Liverpool his record is 20 games, no goals. Assume most of those are a few mins of a bench but no goals for a striker. Is he any good or one of those many over hyped players at youth level who fade away to lower leagues when found out?

Solanke is way too young, not been impressed once on the few occasions I have seen him and he’s nowhere near good enough to go to the World Cup
I remember when he first went and Gobbo was asked about his move and he pretty much wrote off his chances of doing well out there and said he wouldn't adapt and wouldn't be able to learn the language. Always thought that showed a lack of class by Karl - better to say nothing. Possibly it was the big Sam connection talking. I'm glad Ade has proved them both wrong. Wankers.
A bit rich from Robinson when he cannot speak English properly.
