We have a very decent team, lots of experience - full internationals everywhere. Its not Fraeye's ragtag bunch of kids anymore - how the hell are we bumping along at under a point a game with Riga.
This team - with a proper manager - is undoubtedly better than most of those immediately above us.2 -

HT: Brighton not really threatening that much but look like they are in second gear. Shocking defending for the goal (set bloody piece again) but otherwise the defence looks sound enough. Diarra's touch and composure in front of them makes him standout. Cousins industrious but not influencing things that much. Lookman has been a bit anonymous. JBG has been involved but not done much, had our best shot though. Harriott trying and has been involved in what little good attacking we have had. Igor barely involved but service has been pretty terrible.

Start this season afresh with this team and Riga and it would do very well. Once you're marooned at the bottom after a nightmare season, it's very hard to turn things around as numerous relegated teams have discovered over the years. Riga has escaped what in my book should be a huge amount of blame for this relegation. Ok he took over after the Fraeye disaster, but his squad was immediately strengthened with quality players - he also had nearly half of the season to put it right.LuckyReds said:

He claims to be his own man when it comes to picking the side & yet as it stands his ponts per game ratio is a sliver above that of Fraeye's.
Hopeless as the rest of them and certainly as guilty for this totally unneccessary and shambolic relegation.
